Military: New Iraqi school had bombs built in (Scumbag terrorist alert)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- American soldiers discovered a girls' school being built north of Baghdad had become an explosives-rigged "death trap," the U.S. military said Thursday.

The plot at the Huda Girls' school in Tarmiya was a "sophisticated and premeditated attempt to inflict massive casualties on our most innocent victims," military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said.

The military suspects the plot was the work of al Qaeda, because of its nature and sophistication, Caldwell said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

The plot was uncovered Saturday, when troopers in the Salaheddin province found detonating wire across the street from the school. They picked up the wire and followed its trail, which led to the school. Once inside, they found an explosive-filled propane tank buried beneath the floor. There were artillery shells built into the ceiling and floor, and another propane tank was found, the military said.

Isn’t that along the lines of what happened in Beslan?

May 1st, 2004 (the year of seizure of Beslan, which was the following September 1st), President Kadyrov (the father of the present Chechen president) was assassinated by a bomb built into the VIP section of a stadium.

There were reports that, 2 years earlier, weapons and explosives were pre-positioned in the theatrical complex at Dubrovka during a renovation of the theater before the ill-fated 'Nord-Ost' musical.

I truly hope that the US has learned a very important lesson. NEVER AGAIN should we ask American forces to lay down their lives for the people of a country (the great majority of which have absolutely no appreciation for this sacrifice.) Any future president that attempts to send our forces to bring freedom to a muslim country should be immediately impeached or overthrown one way or another. Liquidating our enemies is one thing but this madness in Iraq is quite another. I hope and pray that we can get out of this colossal mess before we lose many more our brave young men and women.

In Beslan, weapons and explosives were prestaged under flooring by the terrorists and then recovered as the school take over began. The terrorists then used the explosives to rig the gym. That’s where most of the carnage took place.

In this example, the bomb had a school built around it.

In Beslan, the terrorists had a nominal goal requiring hostages and negotiation.

Here the objective was the premeditated murder of young girls, pure and simple.
