if he enters, he’ll be the front runner around here, at least.

If he enters he will have to earn his status as front runner by outperforming the other candidates on the trail and in the debates. He will be a fresh face and get a fair hearing. I’m anxiously awaiting his entry.

FredHead BUMP! I was not impressed with any of the men on the stage in California. I feel this is the time for Senator Thompson and he will have my support immediately. I do not blame him for not wanting to be a part of that circus tonight. Mathews actually this group of fools if they would pardon Libby. How low can this dem faithful go?

If Fred Thompson announces he’s in the race I believe that he will “earn” the front runner moniker. He’s an extremely well spoken man who isn’t afraid to tell the truth. I for one will consider him my candidate.

He’s already earned his status thanks to being a real conservative for years. The fact that he is plainspoken, great voice and estues the look of a “President” just solidifies it. Can’t wait to hear that he’s in. Especially after watching all the little smurfs on stage tonight. Though I got to admit Hunter and Tancredo are on the right path and Ron Paul is a modern day “Founding Father”, too bad he can’t let go of his idiotic isolationist-to-the-extreme stance.

Just in time for TV sweeps.
Just the opposite. Thompson needs to wait until the last new Law & Order is shown on TV during the May Sweeps. If he doesn't, candidates could demand equal time from NBC or NBC would have to pull the shows.

What a hoot, NBC hosted Fred as an actor, but will roast him as a politician.

I heard Fred Thompson has an HBO show that airs May 27 (or thereabouts) and must wait until after that to avoid equal time issues.
