My hunch is we will see a Thompson/Giuliani ticket...

I hope not. That would be like trying to mix oil and water.

I want a clean conservative ticket with no liberal RINO baggage to make excuses for. Thompson/Gingrich or Thompson/Hunter, either one, would work for me and would be great for the US.

The order of those pairs could be reversed and I would still like it, but I don't think it would draw as many votes in the general as the first 2 arrangements.

It's not clear that the equal time rules apply to cable or pay TV. And Thompson supposedly only has a small role in the movie, anyway.

The last new Law & Order should air on May 18 - in theory - if L&O's Friday schedule is followed.

I'm not sure what happened, to be honest. I read some of his posts around 6PM ET and everything seemed okay. And then, just a few hours later, the account is toast [again].

I heard Fred Thompson has an HBO show that airs May 27 (or thereabouts) and must wait until after that to avoid equal time issues.

I also heard and it makes sense to me is that the equal time issue only applies to public airwaves not cable.

For all his Texas intelligence, he admitted he doesn't know a lot about Fred Thompson, but he does like what he's heard so far.
I say we educate this young man as quickly as possible.

Fred will win without a doubt, but aside from contractual issues with his acting, his most difficult task will be selecting a VP...we need to start a poll with explanations about VP candidates and see if we are as smart as Fred and his advisors.
