apparently you have never lost a little one. take your criticism and judgements somewhere else! this thread is for PRAYERS going up. the LAST thing ANYONE needs who is suffering a loss is another coming along with criticism, judgement and trying to point fingers! Praise God the mother cannot hear you!! i heard your type with my own losses... all that is done by your words is inflicting more pain.

This was a tragic, horrible accident, caused by a moment's accidental carelessness and the poor mother will have to live with the memories the rest of her days.

The babe is dead. Compassion is for those who are left behind. Your postings do NOT show any compassion or understanding. I feel sorry for you because the day you finally lose someone close to you, the first comment someone rudely and crassly makes to you in the line at the funeral home will bring all of this and any other similar conversations back to you, in all their horror. Only then will you comprehend the pain you have inflicted here. You see, for those who have been there, and lost a child...they grieve with this mother. She may not read the stuff you have written (I pray she never will), but that leaves your fellow FReepers who come on prayer threads to read and endure what you have written unconscionably. There are several here who lost loved ones.
Oh Lord, have mercy on this mother and send her consolation for her extreme loss and any feelings of guilt she might have.
This is NOT the place OR the time to “ask questions and learn more”. Find another thread.

Sometimes in emergencies, we make stupid moves that sometimes turn out ok, but sometimes turn out tragically.
I’m sure that the stupid, mean spirited comments here will be nothing compared to what the young widowed mother will do to herself over the coming years. There’s nothing worse than losing your child.
I’m sorry you’re jaded, but please consider not being so harsh and quick to condemn.
