With only one day left before the Election, every single poll shows Sarko winning big.

Royal, desperate, has tried to scare people into voting for her, with threats of riots.

She has shown her paranoid side as well, observing security helicopters hovering above her rally, she said to the crowd "see, they have us under surveillance"

We have already heard from her "manipulated polls" "media control" Expect to hear cries of fraudulent voting, stolen ballots... the usual Leftist crap when they lose an election.

She’s shrinking in stature in the public eye, becoming shrill and obviously desperate. The end is near, Sègo.

I am here in Paris and the talk shows are full of talk of this election going to Sarkozy. AS for the mood of the people, to me it seems like business as usual. I will say Iwalked by the Louvre yesterday afternoon and their was a large police presence along with a half dozen military with automatic rifles and mean looks. \Not sure what that is all about.
Royal was quoted last night as saying a vote for Sarkozy was a dangerous thing. We will see. I have my freeper camera at the ready and will post some pictures if things do get ugly, but from what I see now, it does not seem likey.
Via Sarkozy!
PS...I did see a guy on the Metro carrying a poster of Sarkozy which compared him to Hitelr, but after all this is Paris, so you come to expect things like that from the Socialists/communist/elites that call Paris home.

I am sure you are having a fabulous time in Paris.

For the record, Paris voted overwhelmingly for Sarko in the 1st round.

There is always a strong military presence near the Louvre and in that part of Paris. It has always been that way. The American Embassy and Elysee Palace are not far away, and are always heavily guarded.

Contrary to what many Americans have been led to believe, there are miltary and police who are armed with machine guns and assault rifles around the center of Paris, especially near the Elysee and Embassies.

France has a chance to regain its former glory. The ideal way to do that would be to expel all those uncivilized violent savages who have infested France.

She’s reminding me of Perot, now.

Sarkozy: I'm not familiar with French internal politics. Is he as close to a conservative as we can get in France? That is to say, is this a GOOD thing? And will his legislature work with him, or are they socialists??

Just wondering...RD

My understanding is that he is very pro-American, wants to cut taxes (from 60% to 50%), and addresses the government imposed 32 hour work week by saying you can work more than 32, but your income for that will not be taxed.

I believe I heard his parents were Ukranian immigrants, and he knows full well what socialism does to a society.

What time can we expect the riots to commence?

Riots? I’m thinking Spain. When will the jihadis strike to turn the tide?

Even IF the French decided to come to their senses and save themselves, it is doubtful that they could do it.

Those of us who love la belle France could drown Paris with our tears. However, nothing is more dangerous than ignoring reality--denial.

So we weep.

I would expect any actual violence to occur not on announcement of Sarkozy’s winning the election, but around the date of formal transfer of power. When is the inaugural, and does anyone know what formal representative of the U.S. attends? Condi Rice?

Sarko’s Father was a HUNGARIAN immigrant (fled after Russians crushed the 1956 revolution) — I know “they all sound alike . . . .,” BUT -—

Thank you. My knowledge of French politics is certainly limited, but the immigration from Hungary rather than the Ukraine certainly makes more sense.

It’s clear that Sarko is the better choice. Perhaps he’ll make France a little more sane?

I wonder if its even possible for the French to save their nation. I guess only time will tell.

Don’t buy your “French maid burka” yet.
