After the attack on Pear Harbor, a Japanese Admiral is reputed to have said “I fear we have woken a sleeping giant.

After last weeks vote on HR-1592, I know the US Congress has woken the sleeping Christian and pro-family majority in the country.

You may think so, but you DO serve the Ultimate "Bogeyman", who is known as El Diable, Beelzebub,Lucifer, the Evil One.

The few atheists I’ve met seem to be angry, miserable people. I kinda feel sorry for them.

Atheist groups from Los Angeles to Little Rock observed a National Day of Reason

*************

Christians have designated National Atheists' Day:
April 1st!!

PSALM 14:1-2

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”

They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.

The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

I'm not an atheist. I will not shame my ancestors by turning my back on God.

I think other tiny groups have seen the pandering made to the homosexuals (maybe 5% of the population) and want some of that. Just wait until a democrat gets the White House.

From 2002, The British Biologist and atheist Richard Dawkin’s tries to motivate atheists in America. Beware there is a growing movement to attack organized religion!

Those with no religious affiliation are the fastest-growing group in America, more even than Muslims

Without turning this into an ii thread, Catholics are by far the fastest growing group in America.

Mr Dawkins said last week: "On my book tour of America I was agreeably surprised by the positive reception it got. There is a huge undercurrent of non-believing feeling in America which has felt repressed, suppressed, almost persecuted.

Following is my letter to the editor in response to an atheist group called “National Day of Reason”. They tried to get a resolution from our local government declaring May 3, 2007 as the day giving them “equal” rights. The letter was published and a copy had been sent to the Commissioners. They resoundly rejected the groups request.

Dear Editor:

I noted Mr. Clark’s letter in response to the “Open Line” caller who reprimanded Mr. Clark for his petition to the Commissioners of Mifflin County. Mr. Clark wanted the County to consider a National Day of Reason to counter a National Day of Prayer on May 3, 2007.

Of course I would suspect that Mr. Clark and I would agree that we, as Americans, have the advantage of the Constitution of the United States and its First Amendment. With that in mind I do not believe that the framers had the intention of having anyone hide behind the Amendment. I rather believe that the First Amendment was intended to have free access to thoughts and words, written or spoken. To that end, I believe that a free access includes forthrightness in what the words mean and what they intend.

As the reporting on this petition was very limited, I think it should be noted that among many of the sponsors of Mr. Clark’s National Day of Reason include: UsQueers.com, Norwich Atheists, Seattle Atheists, Internet Infidels, Houston Atheists and Secular Humanists and Atheists of Lehigh Valley.

It must also be noted that President Bush would not endorse “Reason” with a proclamation in 2003.

I think the Constitution of the State of Pennsylvania’s Preamble, “WE, the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, grateful to Almighty God for the blessings of civil and religious liberty, and humbly invoking His guidance, do ordain and establish this Constitution,” is perfect as it stands. It would be strange to change Almighty God to National Day of Reason?

The Organization’s supporting Mr. Clark’s efforts consists of Humanists and in their zeal believe they are doing your children a favor to make them more happy by seeking to erode any faith in God and replacing it with a hope in their own efforts.

Secular humanism will not “solve the worlds problems” especially with such contributions as John Dewey’s, “Luck, bad if not good, will always be with us. But it has a way of favoring the intelligent and showing its back to the stupid”. I must say I have had my share of luck and I do not call myself stupid. Neither should anyone using the “Open Line” be called stupid. It is not quite “Reason…able” Dewey, by the way, was one of the initial “Humanist’s’” thinkers who messed up America’s educational system 60 years ago.

“If there were no God, there would be no atheists.” – G. K. Chesterton,

Sincerely
