If you have the tube one, or if you're surfing during commercials of the ball game..flick over to C-span 3..for the entry into the WH for the gala formal for the Queen..guests include Elizabeth Hallesback, and spouse ( but NOT Rosie ) David Gregory and spouse ( why, lawd? )and Henry Kissinger ( is he still alive ?) and Tony and Mrs. Snow....YIPPEE!!

Last time the Queen was here, in 1991, she did something she had never done before. She asked for a second glass of a particular wine. Can't remember which wine it was - although I know it was a dry Riesling.

Hope she enjoys tonight's selection as much.

I heard Charles comments regarding the Queen. He doesn’t like us fawning over royals like we often do. I think it is because he loves our country so much. Even said he was a republican with a lower case r.

Did you notice that she was preceded by Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel and his fiancee? The press folk and he just couldn't stop talking to each other and Nancy waited for them to clear. Finally Borel's fiancee noticed that Nancy was standing there waiting and pulled Borel away from the doting press corps.
