I have a Leftie “friend” who works for State, and loves to mock her boss as someone who “likes to play it down the middle on turf.” (Don’t even ask if she recognizes the hypocrisy)
Tell me if that isn’t an example of the Leftist sine quo non?
This man is from my little area here in East Texas. He has become a millionaire in California, but supports the local needs with grace and generocity. He has donated money to air condition the high school and elementary gym, a new locker room, and tennis courts. This rural community will graduate 38 this year, so our funds are tight. This man has been a champion for us. (We forgive him for being Oprah's neighbor and friend.)
She's not grinding her teeth that she's not with the Queen; she's grinding her teeth because she's not the Queen.
Nancy meets the Queen:
She also met speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi, viewed as one of the most powerful woman in the US.
Ms Pelosi said: “Well, I told her how delighted we were that she is here. “I also told her my father used to be the mayor of Baltimore and that he attended her coronation. She said ‘really?”’

Gotta love a woman with Nan’s intellectual heft.

Sounds like a very worthwhile human being to me. Thanks for reporting in.
I still don’t understand why Rosie O’Donnell wasn’t invited. She could have entertained the Queen by grabbing her private parts and shouting, “Eat me!”. Such a shame.
Theres an old saying - a conservative is someone who supports the revolutionaries of yesterday!
She has the most piercing blue eyes you have ever seen, looked right through you - and a warm smile. I always got the impression she was someone that even back then had seen it all.
This is, apparently, one of her major advantages in a world where most major political figures last less than a decade.
No, the new President of France.
No mild sarcasm for you!
Thanks for the link. Yeah, she's a real mental powerhouse. Her intellect is all wrapped up in Nancy. Nothing less would do for her, apparently!
