The DemonRATs who try to give traction to any idea that ones acting role determines one character should be disqualified as having sufficient mental ability to make political comments. This type of thinking might come from someone who failed to acquire critical thinking skills during their education process. Such ideas might find acceptance among those who similarly failed in their scholarship after being exposed to America’s dismal public education system.

They have a thread in the DUmp titled “Is Fred Thompson someone to worry about?” if you’re interested in more laughs. They truly have no clue what we think and what appeals to us.

This post I found the funniest:

>>>>>Scoffing at any Repug candidate should give one pause....
after all, we’ve had Bush* in the WH for two terms!

>>>>>I say we take all their candidates seriously... After all, we know they will automatically get the “brain dead” vote... That plus election theft measures could make for a contest...

It never ceases to amaze me that they accuse us of being “brain dead” on one hand, but intelligent enough to steal the vote via technology (without registering the dead and non-citizens.) The mere fact they accuse us of stealing the vote is ironic in itself.

And then there was that whole "turning water into wine" thing.

I agree. They would say Jesus endangers wine industry... Thousands of people would lose job... the Mexican "immigrants" in CA would be hit the hardest...

It’ll get FAR worse than some movie role in the ‘80s.

Just wait for the “scandal” of the week from the MSM over whether Fred ever smoked marijuana, or why he didn’t serve in Vietnam, or his divorce, or the reporters tracking down every woman he ever dated, or his lobbying activities for foreign and domestic entities, or for his time helping the Tennessee Savings and Loan Association (or whatever they were called) push for deregulation of their industry which led to the “savings and loan CRISIS.”

They’ll try to string this stuff out over months if they can. The only question is will it be republicans or democrats that raise these issues? Perhaps both.

Fred better be ready for a roller coaster and have the guts to fight back. I think he will.

Exactly. His character wasn’t even a real racist. He was advocating things he didn’t believe in in order to gain money and support.

The Democrats call that “running for office”.

Can you imagine that? Engaging in perfectly normal behavior for a human being.”

It’s not so much that he dated a lot, it’s that he dated women.

Next they’ll be telling us he’s just another Bill Clinton. Oooops. Better not use that one! There will be at least 3 contenders on the ballot. Could be thrown into House of Reps. if necessary. Only way hillary can win.

They are making a big deal about his wife being younger than him, ostensibly to turn off the "fundies". They must have never heard of Strom Thurmond.

They vilify Jesus now. I guess they are really scared this time. I know there is a lot of interest in Fred (including myself) and they hate to share the spotlight that has been on Obama and Hillary continuously, so...let’s dig up dirt on Fred.

Rev. Pooley (or whatever his name was)

Knox Cooley. One of the most memorable "bad guys" on any TV show from the era.

The Rudybots already tried that one. It was met with a general, "you go Fred... stud!" attitude. :)

So what was the name of the show?

Wiseguy. It starred Ken Wahl as an undercover federal agent who infiltrated organized crime rings.

I like your comment about playing the title role in a movie about Robery Byrd’s life story. Maybe we could get George Soros to fund the movie?

The Dems set the standard for “low” except in taxes, terrorists, tact, etc.

Harry Reid declined the invitation to the white tie dinner for the Queen. Talk about arrogance!
