Howie live thread. Cong. Meehan has resigned officially this morning (delivered letter) but it takes effect July 1.

Rush Limbaugh was reading something on "why" the Clintonistas bypassed (hmmm, didn't they do that with people applying for citizenship in order to get more idiot voters???) normal refugee stuff was that since they royally created the Kosovo problem, all those refugees would be causing problems in surrounding "countries", so to CYA in the "world's eyes", they let in 20K without background AND health checks.
Likewise, the State Dept. is CYA'ing with claiming the would be terrorists are from "greater Yugoslavia".
No wonder the SLC Albanian terrorism wasn't examined that closely in the press.

How ya doin?
I installed the upgrade for my av/firewall package last week, and it's been nothing but trouble. I don't think I can get a refund. And, I think it triggered XP for a compliance check, and I had to screw around with that for five wasted minutes.
Now I'm looking around for a replacement. The current package is a suite, and it inserted virtual devices, so, I got to figure out how to remove the firewall and still use the paid-up subscription for the av for the better part of a year.
And Howie's not exactly on a favorite topic. Closed the borders, eliminate refugee status, no anchor babies, etc., for say five years, and come up with some reasonable standards for legal immigration.
But, every day above ground...

I wonder if it’s the HIPS/NIPS screwing things up? Alas, that’s the current wave in malware prevention.
