1. They allowed the “culture of corruption” to be painted, while Murtha, Jefferson, Feinstein, Mollyhan, Menedez, and others sat back and coasted.
2. They got snowballed by the Foley October surprise, while a Democrat in South Dakota and NY got caught doing worse at the same time, let alone the Studds precedent.
3. They let the “Bush lied” story go on for 3 years despite similar “lies” told by the current leaders of the Democrat party.

No way I can let this go. This is the MSM version of why Republicans lost in November.
The real reason that Republicans lost is that they lost their base over the lack of fiscal conservatism, ignorance in immigration policy, etc.
There was a whole lotta revenge voting in November. You did know that the Libertarian Party got 10% of the vote in the races they contested last November. People are pissed and, mark my words, I may never vote for a Republican again after 2000-2006. They backstabbed me on everything they promised. I’m a social conservative AND a fiscal conservative.
