Agree. I'm in a quandary thought.
If they impeach President Bush ... and say Senate votes - yes. VP Cheney becomes President. Try again.
If you impeach VP Cheney ... and say Senate votes - yes. Natural spot to nominate the Republican front runner for 2008 race. Good chance Senate would confirm. If not, the image in the peoples mind is that President Bush chose this individual over others.
Dems lose either way. Not to mention at the polls, I don't think they could bank this action into any landslide for them.

The only thing I can figure out is that it's a purely emotional public poll -- complete with unabashed naivety. No political strategist would push this spin...
