I cannot imagine that in this world, most people would ask the question.

Why not? It is obviously a problem that needs to be solved and that might be difficult to solve, but NASA has always kept quiet about what the solutions are, so people are curious. They're curious but they are afraid to ask about it. Prince Philip isn't. Why does it have to be such a big secret? One doesn't necessarily have to be uncouth to describe the solution. Although the Duke of Edinburgh may not be the brightest bulb, I don't think his asking this particular question provides evidence of a lack of intelligence or propriety.

BTW I once saw Prince Philip quite close up at exactly the place you would expect, a polo game.

"Why have a monarchy in this day and age?"

Great Britain would lose 90% of its tourist trade and billions in revenue if they got rid of the monarchy. Tourists love all that pomp and circumstance, changing of the guard, castles, etc.

My point about not asking the question is that the answer is pretty obvious. Not to mention that it was gone into detail when Nowak took her trip across the country. Many assumed she was wearing a NASA diaper, when in fact she probably just used the Depends brand.

Following protocol is an important part of international relations. Sometimes the steps taken seem out of place.

Here’s one instance that comes to mind.

My in-laws came to Atlanta to visit, and we took them to the Carter Center (they adored Carter in the past...). At the center they had a table set up with china, glasses, silver, flowers, napkins... everything duplicated so that the public could see an example of a place setting during the Carter Administration.

My mother-in-law, a Southern Baptist, was shocked to see all of the glasses on the table and asked about them. I pointed out the sherry glasses, water glasses, wine glasses and champagne glasses. My mother-in-law was SHOCKED!

She said, “But, the Carters are Baptists! They don’t drink.”

Out of respect for my mother-in-law, I didn’t explain.

The Carters had guests from all over the world. While catering to such prominent guests, you offer them everything that they could desire (within reason). It is protocol, and it is just good manners.

So, the Carters would have offered wine and champagne with their guests. Not wanting to ruin my mother-in-laws wistful allegiance for the Carters, I’ve never explained further.

Great, now you’re defending Pelosi. Quit digging.

You must NEVER look her in the eye. All staff members know this. Many passages in books about this. An SS man may never say “Good morning, Maa,m.” cause she’ll tell him to go f—k himself. You must never get in her limo’s way because she’ll tell her driver to run over you. All of tese are well documented.

I was just using the two examples that O’Reilly had clips of that the body language expert was able to analyze - one of Pelosi, one of Bush. Those two clips were probably chosen because they so clearly illustrated that the Queen felt superior to her hosts and everyone else she met; I mean, it was just dripping from her face. Maybe O’R has it up on his Web site. You should take a look.

Given the Queen’s readiness to find fault with everything and everyone, I am sure she left several embarassed people in her wake who feel like unmannered, country bumpkins. Bush seems impervious to this sort of thing - he’s from Texas and he doesn’t give a damn. I don’t know whether Pelosi even knew she had done anything “wrong” until the MSM helpfully pointed it out, but she’s a professional pol and should be able to shrug it off. But think of all the workaday folks who took time out of their schedules to greet the Queen and to show her their hospitality. One disapproving or whithering look from her and they would be devastated.

One time, during a state dinner hosted by Bush 41, one of the foreign heads of state drank from the finger bowl by mistake. Seeing this and not wanting the dignitary to even get a hint that he may have done something wrong, Bush 41 picked up his finger bowl and drank from it too. That is the sort of manners - American manners - that no protocol advisor from Buckingham palace can ever teach.
You mean totally fraudulent? This is an old, old story. And it was about the Queen-Empress Victoria, the Widow of Windsor who owned half of creation, so I think Buck House knows.

GHW Bush doing it? I'd bet that, like Errol Flynn capturing Burma, and the US Navy taking U-571, it never happened.

And frankly your continual whinging about your inferiority, however justified, is getting tiresome. Get over it.

No wonder we dont have flying cars. They cant even figure out how to eliminate pee in a spacesuit.
I am suprised that spacesuits dont have some sort of waste eliminater or recycler by now. They have been walking in space for over 45 years now.

I’d say more of a sociopath. She truly thinks she’s a better person than every else not of her social standing and everything she holds as a solution to any problem is the only correct solution. On top of that, she believes she should have, or control, anything she wishes to have or control. Dick Morris, a power hungry sharer of Clinton power, outlines this premise, or at least validates this premise in books, articles and editorials quite covincingly. She is the scariest person in American politics to date.
