Delray Beach, Florida (PRWEB) May 11, 2007 -- Charles Delvalle, senior market analyst for Investor's Daily Edge, analyzes the recent Republican debate, viewer sentiment polls, and Ron Paul.
During the Republican debate, most people who tuned in wanted to see how well McCain, Giuliani, and Romney would do. But there was a shocking standout. And viewers showed their love for him by calling him the winner in subsequent ABC and MSNBC online polls. That person is Ron Paul.
When it comes to the media, there are no sacred cows Ron Paul is considered a libertarian. He advocates a smaller government, lower taxes, abolishment of the IRS and the income tax, he's against unbacked currency, and most importantly, opposed the Iraq war from the beginning.
According to Charles Delvalle, senior market analyst of Investor's daily Edge, "He's the type of person advocates of a free market love, while representing everything politicians hate."
Delvalle adds, "American politicians do well by listening to lobbyists Now, if you're a politician who's against government spending, lobbyists won't cozy up to you. And this is where Ron Paul finds himself."
After the debate, articles on CNN and MSNBC declared either McCain or Romney the winner.
Delvalle observes, "How on God's green earth did they come to that conclusion? It's pretty clear that the MSNBC poll and ABC Poll showed that viewers considered Ron Paul the winner." He adds "Perhaps they came to the conclusion that Ron Paul would never support their interests. Now granted, I don't know that Ron Paul could ever win the Republican nomination against social conservatives like Romney, but the blatant deceit these news organizations are practicing when it comes to American politics is downright disheartening. If politics isn't sacred ground, then what is?"
According to Delvalle, several reasons could have contributed to the discrepancy, "In this instance, the misrepresentation happened because the reporter really didn't understand what he was looking at. Or maybe the market was bullish at the time, so he wrote a report to support the bull market. Another reason why some of these numbers are twisted is simply due to laziness."
"When it comes to the media, there are no sacred cows," Delvalle adds, "So keep a wary eye on what you see and dig deep to discover the truth."

So, unemployed left-wingers who sit on the computer terminal all day, “freeping” on-line polls for Ron Paul, makes him the winner.
It will just make it that much funnier when political reality comes up and smacks you Utopian fingers in the face yet again. It takes a whole lot more then merely stringing together a bunch of talk radio slogans and Do Nothing about anything ever talking points to win an election. Get your boy to actually start saying HOW he would do anything and see how well your polling numbers look then.
That’s the best description I’ve heard yet.
Hey it worked for John Kerry.....at least it did until there was an actual vote.
ping
Ron Paul has been doing that.
I’m sure that complemented the efforts of many conservatives to vote for him.
I doubt many conservatives voted at all, considering they're pointless and easily manipulated. Ron Paul won because of liberals.
How true.
Who are these people who keep pushing this buffoon? He’s a joke. I suspect the moonbats are doing this.
I believe it because Ron Paul repeatedly underscored the importance of applying the Constitution more than any other candidate did so. I believe it because Ron Paul advocated income tax relief. I believe it because Ron Paul took a stand for applying original intent of the Constitution.
The real winners were the Republicans. At least, unlike the Dumbocrats, they answered ALL the questions regardless of how inane and stupid they were. The Dumbos ducked and dodged even to the point of not wanting a certain network to air their “debate”. So much for their message.
In general, they all were very forthright. I appreciated their candor.
Dr Ron Paul at my Christmas party. He is wearing red shirt, sitting on sofa, his lovely wife Carol in the pink outfit, by his side.
Dr Ron Paul saying a few words and having a good time at my house. We all enjoy food, drink, fellowship, etc. We have a great time.
you mean the code pink backers
And the losertarians who weren't too stoned to vote.
I don’t know who to vote for. I wanted Michael Steele to run for president. I really like Tancredo, but I don’t think he has a chance. I am to the right of Rudy and Rush LOL
