"One of the Japanese steel company executives described Arkansas as being the navel of NAFTA," Launius said, referring to the North American Free Trade Agreement.
I might call it something else, since Arkansas gave us Bill Clinton who enacted NAFTA in the first place.

I think it’s some other orifice than the navel.

"Aeromexico and Mexicana, two of Mexico's largest airlines, are in discussions to fly in and out of Little Rock National Airport, said airport spokesman Philip Launius. The hope, Launius said, is that the airport would be the central hub for travel to Mexico from Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Tennessee."
How totally cool. Not only do we get poorly maintained Mexican trucks on our highways, but now we get their aircraft too.

Iâm surprised the Mex and Arkansas officials did not opt for improvements at Mena. Mex pilots probably have that flight plan down pat. Grease one in blindfolded.

Is this another parting gift from Mike Huckabee as part of his negotiations regarding our Mexican Consulate, which opened last month?
So now the Mexicans can fly into Arkansas and simply overstay their Visa's?!!
How convenient the Consulate is there to provide Matricular cards.
I could just scream..

might call it something else, since Arkansas gave us Bill Clinton who enacted NAFTA in the first place. The irony of that is he won by campaigning against NAFTA....but dems have a shorter memory than repubs. Huckabee, a republican, has been at the front of this Mexican embassy thing in Little Rock and the airline plan as well I would imagine.

I have an AeroMexico story for yall. Years ago we flew AM to Cozumel. When we boarded we noticed that the nose of the plane had been patched with duct tape. We laughed. when we boarded in Cozumel we noticed the nose had a fresh shiny coat of paint ......... but you could still see the outlines of the duct tape underneath. True story. Made us wonder about some of their other repairs.
