(CBS) MIDDLE ISLAND, N.Y. Devilish graffiti has turned up at a church on Long Island. Satanic symbols were written on the house of worship and the sign out front.
The Middle Island Baptist Church, a place of worship and refuge, has been violated. It was smeared with satanic symbols and messages. Residents came Friday to see the damage and were shocked by the images.
"Why would they do something like that to a church?” asked Janice Mattis. ”Churches are there to help people in any way they can and then you turn around and do that?”

99.999% of all things satanic are athiests who hate Christianity. They are playing in to the devil's hands, but the practitioners still believe in nothing.
Anybody have any good links to info if there are really are satanic cults out there that literally worship the devil and not just bitter atheists or new agers?
Imagine that. With all the indoctrination of respect for religion that kids get in school and in the media, you’d think they’d be there to join the clergy.

An atheist is even less likely to believe in the devil than to believe in god.
I didn’t mean they believe in the devil, I mean they are responsable for stuff crap liek this to be nasty to Christians.
“Stuff like this” is usually done to synagogues, Bill Clinton’s memories of black church burnings notwithstanding. So hatred of Christianity takes back seat to good old anti-semitism, which as embraced by good old Christians like Joseph Sobran, Pat Buchanan, and Robert Novak. Atheism has little to do with it.
