French plants have been hit by a series of unofficial walkouts in recent weeks after the announcement of steep job cuts and plans to sell all or part of some Airbus plants.
Delivery figures issued on Wednesday indicated Airbus was so far maintaining normal production rates. But finance director Hans-Peter Ring told analysts part of the 2007 production programme could slip into 2008 if disruption continued.
"It is too early to be certain," he added.
Ring is also the finance director of Airbus parent EADS (EAD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research which reported first quarter results on Thursday.
can’t see reuters running that headline. and wtf is up with that screen name?
“Airbus expresses worries on strike disruption”
Actual title of article. I say nothing, but the mods do crack down on title changes. (this is because makes it harder to search and see if an article is already posted.) You can put editorial comments in parantheses after the actual title.
So be warned, grasshopper. ;)

I guess this person didn't understand that changing headlines is a BAD thing. It is not only misleading, but it leads to the dreaded "multiple posts" syndrome.
it’s none of my business but he/she might want to apply the same creativity to picking screennames...
I really hate to fly on Airbus products. I hear all sorts of noises and imagine the “work stopage” that may have produced a jet aircraft that is doomed to a critical failure due to a socialist political solution.
Here we are,
We have a the best workers of an entire continent, a huge market, lots of money to pay high wages, superior technolgy, a full order book and one of the best constructions ever made by Man.
What to do?
Go on a wildcat strike.
France needs a man like Sarkozy.
This reminds of a comment an astronaut made once, when asked what he was thinking about at lift-off. He said, "...that this thing was built by the lowest bidder."
At least you know for Airbus that money is no object....if that's any consolation.
I replaced your title with the published one. As others have said, we insist on using published titles in order to aid in searching.
Warning taken, sorry for editorializing the headline.
“Warning taken”
Probably the first thing I got slapped around for on FR! LOL
Presently, Europe is an giant economy of 500 million dysfunctional workers.
Europe needs leadership.
Some years ago, I worked as a lumberjack/woodcutter here in Sweden.
Upon being handed chainsaws our foreman told us:
“This is the most dangerous hand tool of the world”
I asked:
“What will we do if there’s an accident”
My foreman replied:
“There will be no accidents”.
Herding cats is easy compared to getting unions to point in one direction long enough to fulfill a contract.
