Fox News just reported that they were “North Africans.” That’s mediaspeak for ROPers.

 

Honestly, I took a quick glance at the wall map and thought "Well, you know, they're really not that close to a large native ROP region... I guess it's possible, that maybe, perhaps, somehow, it could be someone else... but then there's all those North African and Balkan immigrants... no, I was right the first time."

FWIW: the press here routinely refered to the rioters in France (and other countries) alternatively as "north Africans" or "youths" (sometimes both).

Well, when I first saw the headline on Drudge, I thought it might conceivably be the Red Brigades. But it’s been some time since they seemed to have gone out of business.

The Mafia is all business, and it’s hard to see why they would hijack a bus full of tourists. They want money, not celebrity.

That pretty much leaves it to Muslims, which evidently is what this is. At a guess, 99% of “North Africans” are Muslims.
