LOve your tag line.

Bush is a aman of character...it must hurt him to have so many Rhinos betray him.

Sometimes you have to wonder how he keeps his strength

Thanks, JAN. Nice pictures tonight.

Yes, we are all gonna look back on this stuff and wish we had all these people back.

I just pray we have some good replacements.

“This man is such a comfort to people.

That he is, rightgirl! You would think there would have been more pics of him with the families today. After seeing the reaction of real Americans in Kansas last week they simply cannot allow many pics of the President with the folks. Some people may think they misjudged him and we certainly can’t have that!”

Isn’t it the truth? Sadly for the msm, I think they “misunderestimate” how much the real people think of George and how LITTLE we think of the msm!

President Bush has had a tough 6 years in office, and sometimes it really shows when I see some pictures of him here on The Dose and elsewhere. Why anybody would want to be President, especially one with an ‘R’ after their name, is beyond me!

I pray for him and his family every day.

A DR DEB RANT (from last evening with updates):

The President’s ENTHUSIASTIC reception by ‘the folks’ at three disparate events this past week once again gives lie to the DEMONCRAT/MSM poll-manufactured montra that President Bush is an ‘unpopular’ president.

During his visit to Greensburg, KS (an area that elected a DEMOCRAT congressman), the President was uniformly greeted by cheering residents practically gushing in their effusive praise for his visit (and his personal warmth)!

During his supposedly controversial visit to St. Vincent College in BLUE Pennsylvania (the center of MAD Murtha’s congressional district) . . . The President was greeted by such an enthusiastic and prolonged ovation that he was initially abit stunned . . . The local/national press searched and searched but couldn’t find one person in a crowd of thousands that offered anything but praise for the President and his speech!

And today, in Jamestown, VA (yes, the state/area in which our president is supposed to be so unpopular — so says one of our cowardly RINOs), the President received an uproariously enthusiastic standing ovation both before and after his speech . . . THE CROWD OF THOUSANDS LOVED HIM — and they REALLY loved his maestro moment!

Bottom line: The next time you hear the media trumpeting one of its ‘manufactured’ polls, just remember this past week!

UPDATE 1: Speaking of ‘manufactured’ polls, today’s GALLUP poll puts the President’s JA rating 7 points HIGHER than the JA rating for Congress — and this from a poll that consistently oversamples Democrats! . . . HEY REID AND PELOSI: THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DON’T LIKE YOU . . . AND PRESIDENT BUSH STILL HAS HIS OVER 60% PERSONAL APPROVAL/LIKABILITY RATING!!

UPDATE 2: The President attends his FOURTH EVENT in the last several days and once again, the people LOVE HIM . . . Just look at the way in which the people react to and interact with our President — they can feel his genuine compassion and they like it!!

THE BUSH YEARS: IN PERSPECTIVE
An IBD Exclusive

In this exclusive, six-part series, we put the Bush presidency in perspective by taking a look at achievements in several key areas, including the economy, homeland security, Iraq, tax cuts and more.

Next installment: Friday, May 18

Part One
BUSH’S REAL RECORD ON THE ECONOMY
The Presidency: Years from now, pundits and academics will surely wonder why President Bush’s greatest achievement — his stewardship of the economy — got so little notice during his time in office. Yet that’s how it is.

Part Two
HOMELAND SECURITY: SO FAR, SO GOOD
The Presidency: Addressing Congress just after 9/11, President Bush promised that “as long as the United States of America is determined and strong, this will not be an age of terror.” Determination is what explains his perfect record protecting the homeland.
