this is what I would call jumping the gun, creating hysteria without knowing what is in the bill. I’d like to know how high I am before I jump.

If it looks like amnesty, and it smells like amnesty, and it walks like amnesty, and it sounds like amnesty, The MSM will tell us it’s NOT amnesty, it’s something new and improved..........

From the schedule to get this through Congress before Memorial Day, it looks like a lot of people will be voting without knowing what is in the bill.

Immigration is a huge problem, but not a "must handle it this week" crisis. If they wait until July to read it and vote on it, the only problem will be a few thousand more illegals sneaking in. Passing a bad bill in a rush will be vastly worse than that.

On the other hand, I think they want to pass it before anyone has a chance to read, analyze and comment on it. They don't want us to know the details.

It really looks like they are going to do it this time... nothing is "getting jumped"

" They could come forward right away to claim a probationary card that would let them live and work legally in the U.S."

THAT IS AMNESTY.

That’s the problem - no one knows whats in it, and you’re being coo-coo’ed to sleep.

What we do know is troubling.

“this is what I would call jumping the gun, creating hysteria without knowing what is in the bill.”

Well, the bill lays another layer of law and regulation on top of the immigration law we’re not enforcing now. It allows 12 to 20 million people who are in the country illegally to stay here legally. And it creates an incentive for millions more to cross the border illegally in the hope that they’ll also get amnesty. It’s also a reward for those employers who hired illegals at sub-standard wages, and without paying withholding taxes or social security taxes for those employees. And it penalizes those persons who are trying to come here legally. So I’d say it’s a bad bill.

In this case, on the scaffold with the rope around your neck and a republican RINO with his hand on the trapdoor lever doing high fives with Ted Kennedy

La Raza has veto power on the senate bill. Who elected them? Not me.
