With Bush and his Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill, I am so angry that there is no way I would EVER vote for ANY Republican that supports this Amnesty destruction of Social Security et all - a financial, and cultural, disaster for our country. I am so sick of their lies. I am so sick of Bush. I am so sick of that fat head Kennedy. I am just so sick of the lies, the lies right to my face that this isn't amnesty. They never want to account for the costs. Republicans and Bush spent like drunk sailors - but really it isn't "spending", it's simply looting my money. This Amnesty bill is the biggest big government, most expensive, biggest loot of all time to me, my family, the Middle Class, the American people.
It is an insult.

If Romney is guy to stop this, then he is my man.
If Romney is the guy to speak out clearly and publically on this, then he is my man.

I’m from Massachusetts, and while he talks well, I’m not sure if he’s got the stuff. I’ve seen Romney in action, and while I have good feelings about him personally (I know one of his staff), I don’t have a lot of enthusiasm for him politically. Yet.
The guy who signed a permanent assault weapons ban, and endorsed it again in the last debate. No thank you.

If you are against the illegals, Hunter is the one who has spent the past many years and authoring bills on the subject along being the one to get the fence bill passed.

The others have jumped on the band wagon years after when they could have been doing something about illegals and the border earlier.

I think Mitt has a chance.
Two things going for him:
Mitt is responsive to the base unlike McCain.
Mitt is a hard-working competent manager like Rudy but without the baggage.
But then again, Fred may take it because he is more endeared to the base or Rudy may win it because of his star power, but I think Mitt will give them both a good fight because he has a work ethic that is on steriods.

Romney is not a fan of Roe v. Wade. He’s recently had a bit of a conversion in that regard. In short, he believes that individual states should have the right to determine what their laws are going to be regarding abortion.

The God-given rights to life and liberty are inalienable, and therefore can't be alienated by any government or person, short of a conviction on a capital offense. Those who consider abortion to be a states' rights issue fail to understand this cornerstone principle of American freedom.
Those who promote abortion as a states' rights issue are the modern equivilent of the supporters of slavery in the 1850's.
