As with you, Miss Marple, it has become too much to fight all the bad people posting.

When the thoughtful folks become a tiny minority, it is indeed time to 'fade away.'

Thank you SO much for that glorious hymn! God bless you!

Thank you for faithfully praying, proud.

One doesn't need to express prayer in writing.........God hears us all.

God bless you.

"Faith, Blogger, alpha............take a look at this thread before the vile posts get deleted......IF they get deleted."

Now why would you want anyone to look at vile posts before they get deleted? And they did get deleted. And they got deleted within two or three minutes of the abuse report coming in. And the abuse report didn't come in from you by the way, you were too busy calling attention to the dirt. Why would you imply that they wouldn't be deleted? Haven't we always been quick to pull any offending posts from these threads?

This vitriol against the founder of the one truly conservative website by people who obviously reject the very principles of conservatism is unseemly. Why they don’t go elsewhere is beyond understanding. I am praying for Bush as well. Praying that he may be given the ability to act as a leader and defend the principles held by those who elected him.

Last year I got an offer to publish the translations of the Iraqi documents on Foxnews.com and they would pay me money for it as long as I do not publish it on FR first. I said NO to Foxnews and refused the monetary compensation because I love this forum so much.

Good for you! :) And shame on FNC! >:(

Just the last piece of a larger puzzle, Mr. Robinson. I just wanted the other Prayer Thread posters to see what it was. With what's happened elsewhere on the forum, I truly didn't know if the posts would be removed.

If you want to ban me rather than have me just quit posting here, that's obviously your choice.

I have prayed long and hard about this decision, and have never wavered from my pro-life, pro-military, small government, conservative across the board positions since I joined six years ago. I have never even had posts deleted because I follow the rules.........at least the ones that used to be here.

I wish you well, and I won't stop praying for this forum. It needs it now more than ever.

By the way, this isn’t the first time someone posted something here that the mods deleted. Lately I’ve seen deleted posts in the Prayer threads. Not as many as today...but it’s happened before. But give the mods credit where credit is due - the posts were already deleted when I came along. Nobody made a fuss over them, and they weren’t disruptive to the thread. This isn’t the first attack, it is the first successful one.

Well, I just wanted to tell you, in case you weren’t aware.

We are commanded to pray for our leaders, which would include President Bush, irregardless of whether he’s making godly decisions or listening to godly counsel at the present time.

In the FR I used to know, prayer threads were acknowleged and kept spiritual and prayerful and it was the extremely rare occurrance by a troll that required a deleted post on them.

More than one poster apparently hit this one and like you, I do credit the mods with the removal. But certain people obviously feel free and unfettered enough to post mockingly on a prayer thread and THAT is a HUGE change for this forum. A change for the worse.

It’s the overall decline in levels of respect and disintigration of boundaries on the forum that is turning people away. Three more of my most well-spoken, level-headed conservative FRiends are now leaving or fading away they say. Very very sad.

And the prayer thread for the POTUS has been defiled.

Sorta reminds me of an FR version of a Wellstone funerally.

Specifics ping, Jim.

Thank-you for seeing this.

I have been praying for President Bush....even before he came into office.

Right now a lot of us are genuinely hurt by the events of this week.....it is the last straw.

I will still pray....

I hope with all my heart, President Bush listens to the ones who helped bring him into office....the American citizens of the US...

..and that God hears our prayers to protect the US from broken promises and civil war.

My heart is deeply troubled that he is pursuing this amnesty bill.....Why is he doing this?

Truly, only God has the answers.

Like I said Ohio, then the detractors have won. Do as I do IGNORE them. Never post to them. I quit a long time ago and now I just enjoy what I want and ignore the rest. Quiting and leaving is exactly what they want you to do.
