I think Jim Robinson is entitled to his opinion and should openly declare his opinion. I would disagree however if he said he is the near equivalent to Rudy.
So illegals can apply —while here illegally— to have a worker pass to continue being here though they arrived illegally?
Thanks... It's good to heard from the Snakemasters School of Theology.

Last I heard, there ain’t supposed to be a religious test for public office.
By the way, it’s only in the last 80 to 100 years that an atheist’s testimony was allowed in an American courtroom, let alone to run for public office.
While we forbid religious tests, apparently there was a feeling that people who did not believe in God, and would therefore have no one to answer to in the afterlife, could not be trusted to be truthful.
Call it a “lack of religion” test.
But it was there.
Ha... gothcha
I’m assuming this is sarcasm. Romney is unsavory in many ways but doesn’t deserve to be called ‘dirt’. Unprincipled perhaps, certainly not a conservative, but not ‘dirt’.

Romney seems to be Giuliani-lite, only slicker. No thanks.
.
.
In addition, by admitting that both have certain strengths (not just slickness, in Romneys case), you actually strengthen your credibility when you point out their weaknesses.
***So in your roundabout and addlepated way of presenting, you acknowledge that because I wrote, “Ok, good work ethic,” then it lends credibility to what I point out about Romney’s weaknesses and you help make my case for me. Thanks. But then again also as JimRob says, No Thanks — I’ll take a pass on this flip-flopping candidate.

Yes, but if I remember correctly, the pass would only be good for six months.
During that time, they were to get their lives in order and prepare for the trip back to wherever they came from.
After the six months, the card expires automatically in the Federal database and they can no longer work legally.
Anybody caught hiring an illegal with an expired or invalid card would be subject to the same penalties as hiring somebody with no card at all.
Stand by now for the "bigot" bit again.
Mitt “the quick” Romney!
There are many of us who do care. He has a family history of cowardice and service evasion. Do the research yourself. Four generations ‘a little too good to serve’.
Heck..."dirt" is nice compared to what he's be called by some of the supporters of a "1%" candidate.
Just trying to save them the trouble.
Romney won my vote
If you want a Mitt that flips get these.

***You mean, like... the same kinds of penalties they have to pay today? That’s all we need, an amnesty law without any teeth.
That is much better than ignoring their illegality. Now, will the medidiots stop the crap about we can’t round up and deport 12 million illegals? Well, no, they will just shift to say it when the illegals refuse to come forward for the ID cards that would register them into a system. Still looks like amnesty to me.
Home Run.
Alright, that is Jim’s opinion. Give him time and think he can win over most of his critics.
Mitt was hated by the Boston Globe because he always frustrated the liberals in his state with his “slickness”. They called him “slick” because he would never negotiate with them behind closed doors and he always let the press know what was going on. They said he played unfair because he always wanted to discuss his fights out in the open. If you don’t believe me, I refer you to Howie Carr.

No, I think there were stiff fines and asset confiscation involved.
