Probably some politician’s “special friend” - that’s the only test that matters when it comes to most high-paying government jobs........

Even better, it’s the SAME test 37+ times.

Notice that what score is considered failing is not specified? Want to bet it’s a lot lower than 80%?

I have to test every nine months, and anything less than 92.3 would cost me my job.

When my daughter was in HS, algebra 2, the teacher (math degree, not education) had my daughter teach the class sometimes because she knew the material better. Pretty scary. Extemely depressing.

It was probably the Praxis I test, which my wife had to take, along with the subject-specific Praxis II. You have to have been somewhat awake during middle school and high school to pass it. Or cram.

Must be more culturally biased tests like we had in the sixties that all the Blacks failed. We just kept dumbing down the tests until they passed. It remains that way today.

And the public school admins want to force homeschoolers to be tested? Perhaps homeschoolers should tutor them.

She may not know squat about literacy or history, but I’ll bet a c-note she can tell us all about single-issue liberal pressure group approved opinons masquerading as fact about safe sex and global warming.

There fixed it for you.

If she can’t pass the test after 38 tries, how can she be bright enough to the the assistant? Janitor maybe?

Could it be that she is just not a good test takers especially those “circle” tests. I know many people who know their jobs but have a very difficult time with Navy Wide Advancement tests. I wonder if they could read the test to her and perhaps have her discuss her answer that way. If she knows the information, but just gets nervous taking a test than I don’t know what the difference is. We put a lot of faith into these government made tests if you ask me.

Kind of begs the obvious don't you think? 38 tries and she couldn't master it enough to get 75%. I sure as hell wouldn't want her training my dog, much less teaching my kids.

1) Not preparing well enough (after 37 previous tries) to pass ANY state’s exam in ANY topic, shows a lack of ________.

A) aptitude.
B) professionalism.
C) common sense.
D) Global Warming.
E) None of the above.

I could see “test anxiety” being the cause the first *twenty* or so times, but not 38. The way I see it, the Principal needs to go (for a lack of A, B, and C).

Most senior admin staff work a 210 day school year vs the 180 or 182 days teachers ‘work’.

100K is pretty good jack no matter the job.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A teacher who is nervous about taking tests shouldn’t be teaching children how to take them.

I doubt that “government” as an entity made up the test. Other teachers and educators of teachers did.

In my profession is three strikes and you’re out. The examiners don’t give a twit that it took 8 to 12 years of post secondary education or that the exam taker is a quarter of a million dollars in debt.

There are 2 strategies that important in passing the board exam given to those in my profession:

1) Being smart enough.
2) Knowing the material.

she got the test because of minority preferences. the schools also have in place, minority preferences for awards given to students. Feds give money when minority students are placed above non minority students. i.e. favoritism in reverse???

Been involved in the schools since 1990. Many Mexican, Korean, Armenian students picked for awards chosen by faculty over and over again.....

FEEL GOOD awards.

LOL!
Next, there'll be an investigation, with the finding that the tests have covered the wrong subjects all this time.

I had a friend who taught in one of the San Antonio school districts. She said they had teachers who were hidden in the teachers’ lounge when State certification people came around because they could not speak or write English.
