Once again, the libtards can't get their story straight. One day, the terrorists at Gitmo are being tortured. The next day they are getting the best health care around. But hey, why let the facts get in the way of a perfectly good publicity stunt? I would love to see some conservatives ambush his arse with a camera wherever he goes. Be nice to see him on the defensive for once.
They went to the wrong place to get their health care paid for. They should have rung their friend, Osama, to foot the bills. He, not Cuba, is the reason the 9/11’rs are suffering.
Fat boy is just trying to promote and make money.
Cubas 20042005 Comprehensive Childhood Study found 10.2% of children are overweight and 8.8% are obese.[4] Although lower than in other countries, obesity is becoming a major public health problem in Cuba.

HAVANA - Acknowledging Cuba has a nascent drug problem, the island’s government promised Friday to crack down on foreigners bringing illegal narcotics into the communist country

Please don’t make things up. There is plenty to not like about communism and Cuba without having to make up statistics to support your case. Cuba has decent medical care for its people. They wouldn’t have such a high life expectancy if they didn’t. Some would say it is free. I personally believe it comes at a very high cost to the people who live there. I would not want to live under communist dictator, even if they could cure any disease.
If Michael Moore wants to make this movie about how great medical care is in Cuba, good for him. All we need to point out is that the reason they have such great medical care is because they live in a completely controlled communist environment, where doctors are numerous becuase they can’t leave to practice elsewhere. Medication can be provided by the government, because wages are all controlled by the government. No body is going to get paid too much...not in Cuba. Sure Cubans have great healthcare. They just aren’t free to come to the US and tell us about it.
For example, in Roger and Me, the woman who was selling "Rabbits for Pets or Meat". That's worthy of Flannery O'Connor.
And the socialite ladies playing golf, oblivious to the financial crisis surrounding them. They reminded me of myself. When hardly more than a teenager, though my father was a blue-collar worker and my family had had a very hard time financially, I was doing all right (thanks to my own hard work and self-reliance, Michael!). I said to a friend who lives in Europe: "I like the world very much as it is." He replied: "I guess you do. You're sitting right on top of it!" (As a matter of fact, I just got through sending a clever email to this particular friend.)
Yea now GERD is caused by exposure post 911. I bet money some “expert witness” will testify is definately is. HAHAHAHA. What a joke. And of coarse they all have PTSD. HAHAHAHA. Sure.
I don’t know about GERD, but I do know that there are many problems associated with exposure to the air after 911.
My husband is healthy as a horse. Worked as FF/Paramedic for years with no major injuries or problems. He worked WTC recovery for 5 1/2 weeks, and since then he has had pneumonia 3 times (still recovering from the last round) He also needs an inhaler. He used to compete in small triathalons and run daily. Now he is limited to nonaerobic excercize. He is already eligible for retirement after 22 years, but loves what he does. However, if his breathing problems get worse, he won’t be able to stay.
Please don’t disrespect all the FFs that were at the WTC just because some went to Cuba with Michael Moore. Most of them are good, hardworking conservatives. They would probably all choose to do the recovery work for their fallen brothers, even if they knew the consequences in advance. But, many of them have gotten sick from breathing in the chemicals and particles from the air.
I do not doubt lung problems but please GERD and PTSD???????? I could say going to Medical School caused GERD amd PTSD.
