I am sometimes amazed at how attached folks can to animals.
“My little baby, my sweet Barkley, died from eating that nasty food. The funeral alone cost me $5Gs and the vet bills were backbreaking.
Those nasty, nasty, evil men killed my baby and they are going pay, you can be sure of that!”
Some days I wonder where our civilization is headed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know money won’t bring Barkley back to you, but I certainly wish you success in collecting anything possible; hurting their bottom line is the only thing they understand.
