In defense of the City Of Lake Forest CA and other municipalities intimidated by litigious threats from unscrupulous representatives of the American Civil Liberties Union, a broad spectrum of citizens' groups, political activists and private citizens will descend upon the doorstep of the ACLU in Orange, CA. to air their grievances.
City councils may be terrified by threats from the ACLU but the citizens are not. All who have been aggrieved by offenses of the American Civil Liberties Union are welcome to join.

I know that somewhere there is this huge irony in picketing the ACLU, I just can’t put my finger on it.

small irony: They are helping the Marine who was beaten by Las Vegas police in the airport and broke his ribs. The news reports were that the Marine did not do any thing to warrent such treatment. I can’t think of any big irony.
I meant the overall picture, of the people protesting the ACLU instead of the other way around.

A few of us stopped at the OrangeCountyACLU office earlier this week and that the employee they spoke with is nervous, knowing that there are a number of organizations that oppose the ACLU and will be there for the rally.
Don’t know why the employee was nervous. The violent protests are usually done by people that approve of the ACLU, not the other way around.
The ACLU is a ferociously anti-democracy, militant atheist decitful moonbat group that seeks to use our own laws to destroy America. And they are incredibly successful, even to extent of having one of their employees placed on the Supreme Court.
I wish I were within 200 miles of Orange County.
One of the most brilliant techniques used by the ACLU is (on very, very rare occasions) to do a small good deed. This in turn is publicized and used to cover-up the 99.9% of the evil they routinely do.

I once naively believed the ACLU fought for civil rights. They absolutely do NOT. Their fight is for PC totalitarianism and the annihilation of all public discussion of religion.
I do understand. It’s kinda like all the Soviet blather about being for the workers and the Democratic claim that they are for the little guy and Pubbies are for the rich.
