Great News, but I though there was already an established Minutemen group in LA?

Gee, does this cost $50 too?

The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps

".. A $50 non-refundable volunteer registration fee is required to cover fees for a security background check and administrative costs.

The $50 Registration fee can be waived if you have a current license to Carry a Concealed Weapon (CCW). To take advantage of this offer, complete this registration page, print it, and mail it with a legible copy of your Concealed Weapons Permit and a copy of your driver's license to:.."

Anti-Bubba,

Our permanent meeting hall costs $17 a month, split between the entire membership. Any donations that exceed that amount will go to our border trips.

You keep harping on the $50 BACKGROUND/processing fee, but if it’s not your money, it’s not your business. Almost every other organization from churches to the boy scouts ask for money, but I don’t see you humping their legs. I’m not trying to start a fight with you, I’m just asking you stop undermining our efforts to secure our border and protect our jobs.

You give me crap like that and say you aren't trying to start a fight! Get bent!

The point is their honesty is questionable and has been from the beginning. Both the Simcox MCDC and the Gilchrist have money problem with many accusations against them coming from within the ranks and without.

Minuteman group releases financial information (Simcox-Minuteman)

"..The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps collected more than $54,000 in registration fees for background checks but spent only about $1,000 for that purpose last year, according to an IRS form and audit report released by group leader Chris Simcox..."

None of my business as you would put it sport but as an observer of human nature you seem to be someone who has such a piss poor arrogant attitude as you seem to exhibit here I wouldn’t give one red penny of my money to you either. You might want to consider trying a different tact with those you don’t want to play nice with if you expect to get anyone to follow you anywhere.

Ron,

I’ve been dealing with “stone throwers” for too long to be nice. However, I wasn’t particularly mean either. I like Anti-bubba, but we won’t agree on this one.

For the record, I don’t expect anyone to follow me; I am an volunteer organizer. Tony Dolz is the Chapter Director and he is much more pleasant than I.
