After action report: New London and the Coast Guard Academy
I left Bristol, Ct, with Larry Baily, Larry Hoffa, George Samet and Jim Sorry-I-forgot-your-name!
Anyways, we got there late because I drive an old vehicle, and it needed water. After we got coffees, we headed out at high speed to the location where we found that the Army landed First, instead of this Marine!
Chris Hill was there with the Good Doctor Raoul. Also, the American Legion Riders were there in force with about 30 riders. Additional riders showed up as the rally went on.
Due to the security issues, our desire to be at Deshon Ave was cancelled because that area was closed off itself, so, we gathered at the front gate area. From there, we were directly across from ANSWER, but also had the entire left side of the street to greet the families.. Of all the cars that came through, only one had an open moonbat inside, and I don't know who she was with. All the buses that held Coast Guard persons, families and visitors saw the difference between the crowds: We had over 50 US Flags, while the moonbats had only 3 at most, and one of those was upside down, and one of the other two was draped on someone's shoulders and dragging on the ground behind him.
For a while I thought our numbers would be equal, but eventually the moonbats outnumbered us by 3 to 2. But, as you all know, since most of us are Veterans, all that meant was that they were outnumbered still. :)
We stayed until some timee after 1200, and broke up after it was clear that ANSWER had finished their communist propaganda.
Pictures to come soon!

I think I may have to go to West Point after all.
Why are the military jets still flying around my house scaring the crap out of my children?
Because you haven’t taught your children that the sound of an American jet overhead is a beautiful thing. Props and choppers are also beautiful.
Stop bitching about it. That’s the sound of freedom.
Teach your children to love it, not fear it.
Amen !
BTT!
Maybe you should take your darling little rug rats to a good old air show or maybe watch the blue angles perform their still might be a little hope left for your kids rather than crapping themselves.
Reagan's election really did bring morning in America.
LOL!
Why are your children afraid of the sound of American jets. My two youngest have lived under that sound their entire lives, and they love it. Maybe you should take it as an opportunity to teach them about how those jets can protect them and about the sacrifices made by the people who fly them.
YO YO DUBYA at Academy
Thank you so much for such a great show of support to our Coast Guard.
You know why coasties have to be that tall?
To be able to wade ashore if the boat sinks.
