So he won’t legalize illegals, he supports a stronger position on Iran, and I suspect that French tacit approval is behind the recent Lebanese moves against the Al Quida infected refugee camps in Lebanon.
Man Sarkozy works fast, I do have to wonder if these moves will effect UMP’s results in the June elections.
France has went from -0- to 100mph very quickly.

France’s boomers are doing a missile upgrade. They have Iran targeted, just in case. No one talks about it very much.

So, let's add them up. France now has Sarko, Melissa Theuriau, and the wines of the Rhône Valley.
That's enough to change my mind. Vive La France!

Time to buy some import CDs of Emilie Simon... Fortunately some of her CDs are on iTunes. I'm not thrilled when I have to pay $40 for an import CD (like I have to do for Mylène Farmer's CDs).

I find it funny... but I tend to agree with you on this. Can a country with a history such as France actually redeem itself a bit with one election? I’m not sure, but I do like the start — minus the bandwagoning of the global warming blame game of course.

Thanks Cincinna. I think the administration here should do something subtle, which would also be a bit of a send-up of the Doomsday Clock — whenever there’s a press conference (with or without the president) a clock should be displayed behind the podium, set some number of minutes before midnight, to indicate how much more time Ahmedeadman has to live.

France has been placed on the right road by newly elected . The bulk of the E.U. member state appeasers need to wake up and follow the lead of France's new leader.
Leadership!

"The U.S. also needs to follow the lead of Frances new leader! How strange politics can be sometimes!" That's right.
Political reversals for the better have happened in Canada & now France, when not that long ago we were experiencing major foreign policy disputes with both nations.
Most countries will vote in the likes of a Clinton or a Carter - and then return to normal :)

How can the U.S. ever return to “normal” again once the “Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants” legislation is eventually signed into law by President Bush?

"How can the U.S. ever return to normal again once the Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants legislation is eventually signed into law by President Bush? Valid point. One has to wonder how many sleeper cells are already here and how many will get Amnesty" to blow US up in our own backyard.
