Or how edited it will be.
So, if PBS station managers don't "want it", then viewers in that area are out of luck.
....that the documentary “demonized Islam” and promoted fear of Islamist organizations.
::::
As it should. Telling the TRUTH about the Islamic cult, a so-called religion that epitomizes death, must have its day. If Islamics had nothing to fear about themselves, there would be no controversy. The world knows the truth...and let the truth be told.
PING
They haven’t really changed their minds. This is just a way to shift the heat from PBS management to local station managers.
I think it’s as is, or Gafney would be screaming bloody murder. They added a “discussion” at the end to “balance” it, although pro-Islam, Muslims-as-victims documentaries in the series were completely biased, without a trace of balance.
Get PBS’s nose out of the government pig trough...make them stand on their own two feet. Why should the taxpayer have to subsidize these leftists???
Few things in life are more gratifying that calling one’s PBS station manager and reading the riot act. I have done it several times. One time my PBS station broadcast a version of Rigoletto with naked women dancing around the Duke. Boy did I let them have it, reamed them a new one for running it in prime time, no less, and I wrote the FCC. Usually they run the operas several times, but that one disappeared. Too bad about the naked ladies, because the singing was excellent.
This is much ado about nothing. No one watches PBS anyway.
"Originally made for the six-part PBS series "America at a Crossroads," the film was intended for broadcast in early April. It never made it to the air, however. The producers, who received $675,000 in funding, said their work was shelved in "an ideological vendetta" and stifled on "political grounds."
Instead of running this, they ran a Muslims as victims piece that wasn't part of the original deal in its place, produced by one of their "news" men.
The PBS bigwigs in DC will place calls to local affiliates “advising” them not to run it, and it’ll disappear again. This is an empty gesture to silence critics. They know there are ways to get around actually promoting the film.
I wonder how many stations will be convinced they “don’t want it”..
yes... but once it is aired it will be available on the net.
The filmmakers should just post it on Youtube. Far bigger audience!
I just emailed our local PBS to find out when they will be showing it.
It’s not over yet. I expect the jihadi-enablers (media, dems) to protest this video and get it blocked.
They have a lot to be afraid of - we might put the murderers in jail and protect innocent citizens.
Trouble is they would have to post it in segments.
Excellent News!
