May 24 (dpa) -- German interior ministers, in charge of police in the country's 16 states, plan to record not only the nationality of criminals but also their migration background, the Tagesspiegel newspaper said in an advance copy of an article in tomorrow's edition.
The federal government's report on internal security and criminological research suggests there is ``a correlation between crime and migration background,'' the newspaper said, citing an unpublished document by the conference of interior ministers.
Data on violence committed by young migrants shows there is a close correlation between social status, education, cultural conflict and the inclination to use violence, it said. Young, male Germans of Russian origin ``but also nationalized Lebanese and Turks'' are among German passport holders causing problems.
Crime statistics in Germany only list the nationality, not the ethnic background of perpetrators, the newspaper said. The planned changes don't intend to ``stigmatize,'' the newspaper quoted Bremen state Interior Minister Thomas Roewekamp as saying. Rather they're to ``shed light on a statistical dark spot.''

If you look at crime statistics in this country then take away the crimes committed by blacks and Hispanics, you would see that America would be one of the safest nations in the world without them.
The Germans can look at the background of crominals all they like, but like us there isnt much they can do about it./

Ya know, I think I understand what the motive is; like us, the Germans have some immigration problems. But the Germans had a subset of their population that saw themselves as "real" Germans, well assimilated, contributers to the sciences and the arts, and not members of a group that bred criminals.
But they decided to rid their country and their continent of them.
Now they have to import human beings to make their country work.
Can't feel too sorry for the Germans.
