Police and soldiers said the head belonged to Terencio Sastre, a councilman from the nearby municipality of El Cedro, whose body was found on the side of a road Friday.

I think that (probably soon-to-be-removed) map of Iraq with the article was a sort of Freudian slip by someone at Fox News.

I’m glad Texas severed its relationship with Mexico in 1836.

Mexico is becoming worse than so-called “Palestine”, Iraq, Darfur or Indonesia. And we want 20-40 million ‘refugees’ from this hell-hole invading our country? Huh?!!

I believe the political term for severing the head is a “total recall”.

This seems to be a practice becoming more frequent than a couple of years ago.
I don't recall beheading being a Mexican practice.
Does anyone familiar with Mexico know if this is something new or just a practice that always was ?
I thought the preferred method of execution and intimidation was a bullet-riddled body, not a beheading.

Interesting. American politicians are doing their best to bring the same behavior to their own back yards.
They may yet reep what they sow if they aren't careful. I will still view it as tragic.
