Heart-ache: St. Cindy quits the Democratic Party over Iraq funding

posted at 11:32 am on May 27, 2007 by Allahpundit

Noel Sheppard thinks the media’s embargoed the story, but I’m more inclined to blame the holiday weekend and the fact that it was broken on a blog (even one as big as dKos). This is a golden opportunity for them to attack the Democrats from the left, which they’ll then use later as proof of how “fair” they are. “See? We criticize both parties … for not being socialist enough.”

On the other hand, Mother Sheehan’s absolute moral authority has been looking less absolute with each passing day, so maybe they’ve already decided to leave well enough alone already.

Exit question: This probably means she’s running, though, eh?

“Mother Sheehan’s absolute moral authority”

A female who shamelessly and subversively markets the death of one of her offspring such as she does has absolutely no moral authority.

If Sheehan does quit the Democrat party, that means the party is one person saner than previously. Still a L-O-N-G way to go to reach sanity.

She jumped the shark a long while back.

In retrospect, I feel guilty for getting a indescribable pleasure of watching the main stream media whores and Hollyweird blowhards "13th step" her as long as they did.

I think I need a shower now.

That should have been a big story. It is going to be interesting to see which crack up effects which party worse. The immigration crackup on the right or the war funding crack up on the left. The Republican leadership had better get things together well before the election because if Bush signs that immigration bill there is going to be hell to pay. This coming election is going to be one of the most volatile in a long time with no clear winners on either side. If a third party is going to manifest itself it will be now. I’d personally welcome Fred Thompson running as a third Party rather than a Republican. I think the GOP needs to be sent a message, the one they didn’t get when Perot ran. The Democrats of course deserve to be totally wiped out politically. There is no redeeming a party that so throws itself into the arms of the enemy and works to undermine America for the sake of their own power.

As loony as Sheehan is, her leaving the DNC may be a killer to the Dems if she can take some of the America-hating left w her.

This election could be interesting. Hopefully a real conservative 3d party candidate emerges...might have a real chance to win

The MSM is not going to cover this. If Cindy jumped off the demonrat boat the MSM is not going to be her everpresent sounding board any longer. Trust me we have seen the last of Cindy till she comes back to the reservation.

Anyone remember the rave reviews this pathetic traitor got when she shat her last book?

That is fascinating. I'll have to update my Cindy Sheehan Journal in which I keep track of each and every biographical development in the life of Cindy Sheehan.

Sorta leaves Sheehan out in the cold, doesn’t it?

Yeah, and that will elect Hillary. Good idea.

The main reason I vote republican is so I know my vote counts.

I would be 3rd party voter but getting the majority to vote under a 3rd party is difficult.

I I knew for certain that a 3rd party candidate had a change I would change.

I am mostly conservative in my views but I don’t always agree with the way the republican party is headed.

Exactly. The Democrat party has so many people dependent on it for their very existence that they will always turn out in droves to vote for whoever the Democrat candidate is. The only time they win elections is when Republicans don't show up to vote or split the vote.
