It is sad, but I think true, that Blitzer and Rangel want the United States to fail, just so they can say that Bush failed. Blitzer and Rangel have no solutions. They have nothing positive to suggest. They don't even make the effort. I love the way Blizter cherry picks quotes from the President for Hunter to argue against, when in fact Bush and Hunter are together on these issues. I also like the way he hides behind “some experts who say.” It isn’t easy being a conservative Republican politician when facing the liberal Democrat press. That’s the way it’s been since Nixon, at least.

Although I agree Rangel and Blitzer want Bush to fail, I think it goes further than that. I think they truly believe in their cause and truly believe they are right. Wanting America to lose in order to blame Bush is political but evil, but thinking they are truly correct in their beliefs is really scary! Anyone who reads DU,etc., can tell they are true believers in their twisted thinking.
I appreciate the fact that you did that! It was nice watching Duncan Hunter without having to listen to Rangel’s stupid comments.

Duncan Hunter handled himself well here! I like having our side have to handle a hostile press. It toughens them up for the hard battle ahead. So far, Duncan Hunter has never backed away from his stated beliefs and core convictions. That in itself is an admirable trait!

Duncan Hunter has a chance if people would stop asking that and start supporting him. He has always been excellent at getting his point across and I think he is the best opportunity conservative Republicans have had to sell our views. He will not let liberals get away with their BS.
