Here's a lesson in How Not To Honor a Fallen Soldier 101. Don't do what Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson did to fallen Marine Lance Corporal Aaron Austin:

Get his name wrong.

Exploit his death on the campaign trail.

Insult his mother by claiming she talked about money with you at his memorial service, which she vehemently refutes--and then refuse to apologize.

I read down and read what Maj. Zembiec had written in his journals and it embodies what are soldiers and marines are. In 2005, Richardson signed an executive order preventing the state police from inquiring or doing anything else about illegal status of aliens in the state. Fast forward to today: Four or five other states have troops on his border with Mexico. But between Arizona and New Mexico, 57 troops have been mobilized for the same duty. The question arises as to why other states have troops there when they refuse to even help themselves?
