She has not quit—just re-deployed to California.

At least she finally figured out she was a tool for the rabid left who care only about their “HATE BUSH” agenda - and like her, the war is only used as a weapon in that fight.

Do you mean to tell me the Left has abandoned Mother Peace?!?? How fickle are they!

Well Cindy shouldn't feel too bad. She succeeded in stretching her 15 minutes over several years, which is more than most people manage to do.

I hope she recedes into obscurity with more grace than some--that "reporter" who exposed the Watergate scandal, for example, whatzizname...still struggling to resuscitate his.

Like I said, I just can’t bring myself to feel anything but sorrow for her.

Save your sorrow for our soldiers. She provided aid and comfort to the enemy from her soapbox and deserves nothing but our contempt.

"I am going to take whatever I have left and go home," she wrote

Be sure to spend some of it on a gravestone for your son.

Good point. Didn’t she just walk away from her family? Wasn’t there a divorce in this? I don’t rightly remember.

Took me a sec to recognize your MOS.

I don’t think a soul is going to miss her.

Cindy, take this time to to regain any sense of sanity you had and reflect on what you’ve said, who you’ve supported and what sacrifice really means.

She deserves our sympathy and prayers

In WWII she would have been shot as a traitor. She has spit on her son's memory, embraced our enemies and raised the moral of those who are killing our troops and planning our destruction. She deserves nothing but our contempt. If you wish to give her your sympathy and prayers as a gift, that is fine. But she does not deserve them. In order to deserve something your must have earned it.

My sympathy for the loss of her son diminished greatly when I saw how she purposefully dishonored his service to the country he died for. I consider her at best a badly deluded attention freak willing to sully her dead son's memory for 15 minutes of fame.

I remember back, oh, 6 months or so ago when she was threatening to torpedo Hillary's candidacy if Hillary didn't vote to de-fund the war. Cindy's overblown sense of self-importance was as hilarious as her funding was shadowy.

Now she's lost her sponsor, apparently, and she wants to get away with as much of her ill-gotten gains as she can. I have only one thing to say to her:

Goodbye.

Or Jimmy Carter, who keeps coming back like Clinton's herpes.

>>”She wrote that she is disillusioned by the failure of Democratic politicians to bring the unpopular war to an end and tired of a peace movement she said “often puts personal egos above peace and human life.’”

Democratic politicians= failure...

personal egos = Cindy Sheehan

Sheehan: My son "did indeed die for nothing"

The previous 2 years of your life is what your son died for, Cindy. Casey is America's finest in my opinion.

> In WWII she would have been shot as a traitor.

In WW-II you Yanks also interned AMERICAN CITIZENS of Japanese descent for no good reason aside from their ancestry. I guess that was the right thing to do too, ay?
And in WW-II you ran a segregated Armed Forces, denying blacks the right to serve as equals. That too was a good idea, ay? The US should do that today, d'ya think?

> She has spit on her son's memory, embraced our enemies and raised the moral of those who are killing our troops and planning our destruction.

Crikey, maybe don't be such a drama queen! She has done nothing of the sort, and I defy you to prove otherwise. One photo of Cindy with Bin Laden in flagrente delecto in a love-lorn embrace would be sufficient to prove your case. Or even hawking a greenie at her son's gravemarker would do the trick.

And surely you mean "morale" (ie espirit de corps) rather than "moral" (sense of right and wrong) because nothing could raise the sense of morals of an Enemy with no concept of Morality.

If the enemy feels happier because of Cindy Sheehan's activities then they are truly Pathetic because the rest of us saw them for what they were: the distraught acts of a woman no longer in full charge of her faculties.

At very best she has been a sideshow act, a clown and a useful idiot to be manipulated by the media and by the Left for reasons that are hardly noble. She is unlike Jane Fonda because Jane had no excuse for her duplicity.

> She deserves nothing but our contempt.

You deserve nothing but our contempt.

> If you wish to give her your sympathy and prayers as a gift, that is fine. But she does not deserve them. In order to deserve something your must have earned it.

I'd say giving and losing a son to the greater cause of Freedom entitles her to prayers and sympathy. That her sacrifice has caused her to suffer what would appear to be a serious mental meltdown is even more tragic still. One look at her could tell even the dimmest wit that all is not right upstairs with Cindy. She needs professional help.

If she alienated her family and friends by this pathetic crusade, imagine how they feel after reading that she is now coming home to them.

Sheehan: My son "did indeed die for nothing"

Casey didn't think so, Cindy. You dishonor him every time you protest against the war that he believed in.

She feels no more pain than the hundreds of other mothers who have lost sons in war and chose not to trash their country and its president with leftist drivel. Lenin called them useful idiots when he talked of the capitalist that supported his lunatic cause. I’m sure that is exactly what the democrats think of this sad woman.

Her whole cause was based upon a single lie, that lie was her son died for NOTHING.

He died trying to rescue his fellow soldiers.

That is why she is beneath contempt and will always be.
