Hint: Read comment 8 again.
Plenty of Europeans have heard of 'Eurabia,' and many recognize that there is an increase in immigration from Muslim-majority countries (and the government sets up immigration policy).
Your links only support comment 8.
Islam is a minority religion there, only about 14.9% according to this link.
Over here all 3 parties (including the Conservatives)are keen on courting the Islamic vote, as it could tip the balance in Inner-City constituencies.
However, most of us in rural and small town England desperately want these Moslems kicked out. The only parties that pledge to do this are the British National Party and the English National Alliance. Unfortunately they say they will also expel decent communities like Jews, Sikhs,Polish etc; in fact the ENA said last year that even Irish, Welsh, and Scots will have to go.Catholics,Mormons,Eastern Othordox churches would be closed and Church of England would be the only faith permitted.
I think the trouble is a lot of stupid people see someone from India, the Carribean, or even China and think “Oh that lot tried to blow London a couple of years ago, lets teach them a lesson.”Round here we have them, I suppose a bit like your Trailer park people, they have red necks.
Anyway the point I was trying to make is that the mainstream parties seem more worried about Moslems in the Cities than us,the native taxpaying, working Christian people.I seriously think that we come last,I really despair.
Take my advice and scrutinize your prospective Congress candidates very carefully, even your Republican patriotic ones - because once multicutural goverment gets in the national bloodstream, it becomes very difficult to find that ideal anti-biotic, heritage, social cohesion, Christianity and national pride.
I listed evidence that the program exists. That is not an opinion, but a fact. Those who disagree are either, ignorant or willfully ignorant. There are also liars, who are promoting the Eurabia Project.
Take over the UK Independence Party.
Though the MSM is quick to accuse Americans of being ignorant of European happenings, the MSM has barely mentioned the car-torchings and other unrest. The MSM is also reticent to identify the Mooligans because they aren't Republicans and aren't named "Bush".
Yes you said it. I voted for them in the past and they connected with the poor old taxpayer - but they have a habit of fighting among themselves.
It seems clear enough, but you apparently don't get it. The post isn't arguing that there isn't a Eurabia movement going on, but that a lot of Europeans don't see it as a threat--although they have been informed.
As with the stereotypical view of Europeans toward Americans, and views among conservatives and liberals about the other side, or even Creationism and Macroevolution, it isn't based on poor information, but rather on personal opinion and experience. It's sort of an information vs. wisdom type of thing. People have the data, but respond to it in two ways (in this case, either sensing that Muslims will try to take over Europe, or ignoring the large influx of unassimilating Muslim immigrants).
The vast majority of the American population--not only 'whites;' the vast majority of 'blacks' and Amerindians, too--are of European ancestry. However, there are some--in particular immigrants--who do not have ancestral ties to Europe. The post merely sought to point out that these people are every bit as much American as those who are of European ancestry. Although their genes might not hail from Europe, their culture does.
And that culture (hopefully) will at some point mature enough that it is considered to be an American civilization distinct from European (Western) civilization (just as Western civilization had roots in other civilizations but has 'evolved' into a civilization in its own right).
