In a policy address yesterday in New Hampshire, Mrs. Clinton laid out an economic vision that envisages an expanded role for government as part of an effort to foster a society of "shared prosperity." She assailed the policies of the Bush administration, saying they have benefited the wealthy and large corporations, particularly oil companies, at the expense of the middle class. "For the past six years," she told an audience of hundreds at the Manchester School of Technology, "it's been like going back to the era of the robber barons."

Offering nostalgia for her husband's tenure in the White House, Mrs. Clinton said she wanted to "hit the restart button"

“From each according to their ability; to each according to their need.” Hmmm. Why does that sound familiar...?

as one of those robber barons she is talking about (I make over minimum wage) I’m glad the mask is off again. We need to hit her hard on the issues, not her other (obvious) flaws.

“Offering nostalgia for her husband’s tenure in the White House,...”

***
Nostalgia? Um...none from me. I lost money during 8 years of Clinton communism. If this broad gets into the White House, I won’t have a pension to live on.

Under Communism there is no prosperity to share, only misery.

Running on a platform of raising taxes worked out SO well for Mondale, I can see why she would emulate it.

Her comments are all the same old crap as the prelude to communist takeover of Europe. Shared Prosperity = Shared misery = Socialism.

“Mrs. Clinton said she wanted to “hit the restart button” on the 21st century.”

Ha ha! I’ll bet her speechwriters stayed up all night thinking of that clever little phrase.

"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."
--William Pitt (Earl of Chatham), speech in the House of Lords, November 18, 1783

"Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude."
--Alexis de Tocqueville

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences."
-- C.S Lewis

Many of you are well enough off that the tax cuts may have helped you. We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.
Hillary Clinton

If this beotch wins due to GOP ineptitude, we are seriously screwed.

Every time these liberal socialists talk about “sharing the wealth,” my share of the wealth gets smaller.
