We’re just days away from the New York City mayoral race. Communist and foreigner Zohran Mamdani, who identifies as a “Democratic socialist,” is in the lead to win. He's never had a job, but he's about to land a big one. Many have argued a Mamdani win will be “good” for Republicans, especially ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The claim is Mamdani’s radicalism can be used to corner Democrats as extreme and out of touch with regular Americans.
