O'Reilly Rebounds With Hard-Hitting Exposé on Notorious Abortionist

Accuses KS Governor of protecting Tiller

New York City, NY - May 31, 2007 - Fox News host Bill O'Reilly rebounded from a six-month silence to issue a scathing segment on the notorious late-term abortionist George R. Tiller that aired the evening of May 30. During the segment, O'Reilly blasted Tiller for "executing fetuses" for "vague medical reasons."

He was equally critical of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who vetoed a bill that would have required Tiller to provide specific medical reasons for abortions after 21 weeks of pregnancy.

"Incredibly, Gov. Sebelius is protecting Tiller," O'Reilly said during his broadcast. "And Gov. Sebelius is allowing him to continue the slaughter. How the governor sleeps at night is beyond me."

O'Reilly produced a document showing that Tiller has a lengthy history of campaign contributions to Sebelius going back to 1994.

O'Reilly's guest was Rep. Ben Hodge, who resigned a committee post in protest of the lack of action by Speaker Melvin Neufeld to bring Tiller to justice.

When asked by O'Reilly if this was a disgrace upon everyone who lives in Kansas, Rep. Hodge responded, "Yes, I think it is. I think at times in American history there will be times when branches of government fail the people and I think this is one of those times."

"O'Reilly's remarks underscore what our own research and work has revealed about the web of corruption that surrounds and protects Tiller," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, who worked behind the scenes with Kansas legislators in an attempt to bring Tiller to justice.

"Because women come from every state to abort late-term babies at Tiller's Wichita abortion mill, this is a national problem. We pray that the national exposure O'Reilly brings to this scandal will force the people of Kansas to begin taking meaningful action to clean up governmental corruption and bring Tiller to a court where he can be held accountable under the law as soon as possible," said Newman.

Why is everyone afraid to admit that they like and watch Bill O’Reilly? So many people put the same qualifier in front of any remarks about President Bush. Both of these man can make me crazy at times. I am so glad that both of these men speak out honestly about things they care about deeply. That is what mature people do. Of course I don’t agree with everything, but I don’t agree with anyone about everything. Do you?

In the alternate reality, there is Keith Olbermann and Al Gore or Hillary Clinton. The only qualifier I can think of is that they are all human beings.:)

“Bill O’Raza will change his tune when his sponsors tell him to.”

Your ignorance is showing.

Say what you will about him, but Bill O'Reilly is the only one in the MSM who is consistently exposing the abortionists for the depraved murderers that they are.

O'Reilly is to be commended for what you say.

But I wish he would not use the pro-abort's term, 'fetus.'

Of course, 'fetus' is Latin for 'little one'; but the abortion industry has convinced the American public that a 'fetus' is an somehow an unattractive, unfeeling, unsensing blob of inert tissue (that is magically transformed into an adorable, soft, cuddly, arm-waving 'baby' ... only at the moment of birth).

To paraphrase Gertrude Stein: A child...is a child...is a child.

Say as you will about Bill O’Reilly, at least he has the cajones to defend and promote his principles. That is a lot more than I can say for most of the airheads I see on T.V. I agree with him on 75% of the things he says, and to me that is more than double what I agree on with the other talking heads.

especially since Sebelius calls herself a Catholic.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse. Eeeew. Her bishop has to say something. Then again, Boston's bishop has been silent too.

Of course I don’t agree with everything, but I don’t agree with anyone about everything. Do you?

I get frustrated with him when he "opines" about issues that he is ignorant of --particularly his Catholic faith. He's old enough to know better. And there are more than enough resources available for him to learn the faith that he claims to be his own.

Nevertheless, a spirited defense of the unborn will cover a multitude of sins.

If she, Sebelius, claims to be a Catholic, put the pressure on the church to do something about her public stance. If the local church ignores this issue, take it to the diocese and so forth up the line.

Why learn about your faith? Then you might have to REALLY live it. Cafeteria Catholics are everywhere.

Don’t forget that O’Reilly is good on the border issues and is the only one on TV with the guts to come out and say that this amnesty bill will permanently destroy the Republican party.

He said it would create 50-60 million new Demonrats and turn the country into a one party nation.

He even had the brass to say that to McCain!

“Of course, ‘fetus’ is Latin for ‘little one’...”

Of course, it isn’t. Fetus means “that brought forth”.

Tiller isn’t going anywhere until Kansas elects a new Gov. and AG. Tiller owns them.

Absolutely. The AG (Paul Morrison) used to be a 'Republican' working under Phill Kline. He switched to Democrat just so he could run against Phill. The reason? He claimed it was because Phill Kline was violating rights by asking for abortion records. The real reason was that he didn't want Tiller to be brought to justice.

The one thing that brings comfort is that I know George Tiller, Kathy Sebelius and Paul Morrison will stand before God one day, as we all will.

Of course, it isn’t. Fetus means “that brought forth”.

Then all the more reason for O'Reilly to stop using the word "fetus."

For by your definition --"that [which is] brought forth" -- the word "fetus" is exactly the wrong word to use for an unborn child.

An unborn child, by definition, has not been "brought forth."

So let's call a spade a spade, and a child a child. Not play Orwellian games with dehumanizing language in an effort to obfuscate and to justify murder.

I rarely watch any network ,, however to answer your question I think he grates on people .. his mannerisms and holier than thou approach to EVERY subject are a turn off... when he does speak on subjects that I have firsthand knowledge of I find him to be no better informed than Katie Couric ,, of course I agree with him on this subject and on border issues ... I just won’t watch him 5 days a week to see 1 show in 10 that informs beyond the grade school level.
