She might have a pretty strong case if GE is run like it used to be. I’m not a big fan of GE, but that said, I have always found them to be (executives) arrogant and somewhat hostile folks. Starts at the top and works its’ way down the management rungs, and it is every man for himself there.
My husband worked at GE for 38 years[now retired] from the GE aprentice program to drafting manager.He was treated fairly no complaints from this GE family.
I heard a rumor that they fire the bottom 10% of their employees based on single year performance. You essentially have to reapply for your job every year and justify it based on your accomplishments.
