get this:
the young lawyer attended the U.S. Naval Academy Lol, that means he didn't graduate. Wonder why? Given he is now a trial lawyer, people could draw conclusions. Of course Annapolis' honor code wasn't as strict as ours (USMA) was, lol.

This undated photo obtained from the website of The Speaker Law Firm,
PC, shows Andrew Speaker, a 31-year-old personal injury attorney who
practices law with his father in Atlanta. Speaker was identified on
Thursday, May 31, 2007, as the tuberculosis patient under the first
federal quarantine since 1963.

Maybe he really, really didn’t want this guy to marry his daughter.

Isn't this strange that a lawyer:
1. thought he knew better than the physicians and
2. didn't care about how others might be harmed
so he did what he wanted without regard to the consequences?
A selfish lawyer... what are the odds?

It's also possible that his story is true and they weren't stressing not traveling since they didn't know what strain he had.
Why believe the government over a citizen? To me it seems more likely, the government is trying to cover up what they said and when.

I’ll bet he’s not just a trial lawyer but “connected” as well. We’ll have to see....”To Whom”.

If any of his fellow passengers come down with TB (especially
with the same strain)...
this is one personal injury lawyer that liable to get a taste of
his own medicine!
Heck, if they even lose sleep over having been locked in the
same plane with this puke, they should still slap with a mental
distress suit.
Among many things in this case, I'm still torqued that he was
allowed to waltz back into the USA even though he was flagged
when his passport was scanned at the border.
He should have been detained immediately once flagged.

He can and should be sued by all the people who had to have tests, because he was an ignorant, selfish SOB. Damages would be low, unless someone contracts this resistant strain of TB. Odds of punitive damages are low.

Well, to be fair, he was flagged as being on the “no fly list” and he wasn’t flying.

Maybe it is my age (getting on), but I am willing to cut this guy some slack. He is 31, and still feels good. We all know that “youts” don’t quite get that they too are vulnerable.
He truly may not have realized that he was a danger to others until he got to Europe. Then he panicked, and didn’t use his head.
I feel sorry for his bride. What a way to start a marriage!
