Here is Houston the unemployment rate is 3.8% but for some odd reason the Katrina "evacuees" cannot find work. Unemployment is still a problem for Katrina evacuees in Houston yet there are 59,000 jobs in Houston that only require a high school diploma.

This is the time of the year when seasonal employment begins, farming, construction, painting , carnival etc in the Northern part of the country.

Employment should go up.. if it did not it would be a real blow.

I left myself wide open for that one.

My point of unintentional diversity was I hired all three of these people solely on their qualifications. Turns out the two minorities are foremen in training. The Caucasian is lowest on the pay scale.
