Border Security: Accept No Substitutes

You see what you want to see. I fight, and I will fight physically if I have too. Once again, I call you a defeatist and one of the very people you are bitching about. You are NOT a fighter, you are a complainer and a wimp who would rather throw up his hands and surrender and say, "those other guys won't fight why should I?". We had people like you during the revolution, it wasn't a 100 percent supported and at times I would say 50/50 was a good bet, but the people who would fight, fought and won.

Give up if you wish but I for one will never stop fighting and neither will most of the people on FR. If you think we aren't fighting then why is GW asshat screaming at congress to ignore us? The senate is dragging its collective feet right now because we are overwhelming them with our fighting.

Take your BS surrender attitude somewhere else I don't much care for it.

Sooo....you’re headed down to some of the border towns in Texas and Arizona....to show them just how a real American can ‘live with it”....get back to all of us here and let us know how it goes will ya?

Both Senators' minions acknowledged my points, as well as the fact that they had received a constant stream of complaint about the so-called immigration bill. Note that I actually used the "Committee for Comprehensive Immigration Reform" hotline, so I talked to a real person immediately. For those who have questioned whether calls placed here are actually counted in favor of the bill, I saw the following two paragraphs on WorldNetDaily this morning:

"A campaign has been set up by a group including La Raza, an organization that advocates for a Mexican takeover of parts of southwestern United States, letting Spanish-speaking people lobby the U.S. Senate directly, even coaching them what English words to use.
"And it deceives congressional offices, with a high-tech process that strips away the 800 number people actually call, and forwards to Washington the callers' home numbers, leaving the impression the multitude of calls are not part of an organized effort, WND has learned."

The White House comment operator is ordered to be non-committal to comments. After I went through my points, I asked her what message she was hearing, and what message the President was actually hearing here - was she hearing from infuriated republicans like me. She blurted out "Oh, yes - plenty!" before correcting herself to a neutral answer.

Securing borders is NOT rocket science.....the ugliest dimension to the whole issue, IMHO, are the implications for all Americans of Bipartisan dereliction of fundamental Constitutional obligations. “Just live with it” is what Capitol Hill is telling us Americans. I’m afraid we have far bigger problem at hand than a porous border with the obvious smuggling and security consequences. A problem that all too many of us would like to tiptoe around rather than address.
I for one resent being told to “just live with it”. My family has poured too much blood, treasure and time in the garden of liberty the last three hundred years to just accept that nonsense.

You so took my “live with it” out of context that it really psss me off. You don’t even READ.

You see one phrase, and you hit the roof.

I said: nobody from any party is going to stop this invasion.

Do you deny that? Show me the fence. Show me the wall.

Therefore, I said, we have to learn to adjust to the situation, and I specifically mentioned a possibility: secret societies [implying for our common internal defence].

I did not mean Oprah Winfrey “live with it” and you KNOW I didn’t mean that. I meant reacting to the situation we find ourselves in in a way that enhances our ability to SURVIVE that situation.

But forget about it. I don’t want to talk to you about this anymore. You want to haggle and nitpick over phraseology.

Go pick a fight with your spouse.
