Gore: I'm not good at modern politics
Nashville Tennessean | June 2, 2007 | Beverly Keel

Posted on 06/02/2007 8:18:42 AM PDT by Zakeet

This story comes from the Gannett's Nashville Tennessean, therefore we cannot post excerpts. However, it does contain some keen observations from the newspaper's former cub reporter. For example:

Algore hasn't ruled out a 2008 run for the White House, but doesn't expect to have a go at it because he "might not possess the skills necessary to be elected president now."

Algore "views the U.S. political system as flawed" because it cheated him out of his presidential victory.

It may be easier for Algore to fix the system from the outside than as leader of the free world.

Algore has "found other ways to make a difference and to serve the public interests "And I'm enjoying them."

Oh come on Al. Don’t sell yourself short. I know you can tell whoppers as well as any other liberal Democrat.

... he "might not possess the skills necessary to be elected president now."

He's already demonstrated that he does not posses the skills to be elected. What should be stressed is that he does not posess the skills to be President.

George Bush took my precious. It was mine and he took it. But we’ll get it back won’t we.

Sad.

This idiot thinks he is profound for pointing out that politics in a democracy is sometimes not perfectly reasonable. The sad thing is that he thinks it is new. The whole basis for conservatism is the idea that politics is limited, and always will be.

Algore would be good at the rotating science teacher position in fifth grade—the one who appears once a year in each class in the district to talk about science to the kids.

Gore wouldn't have been 'good' at anything, which proves that most of our political class are inherently stupid.

In private life, if this clown had to earn a living, I am not certain what he would be qualified to do. In most professions one would have to possess good reading and understanding skills which this fat fool lacks.

Like Hillary and all DemocRATs and many RepublicRATs, when he opens his mouth and speaks he comes off as a blithering idiot.

Perhaps when all the leaf-blowers slink back across our border he could operate one of those.

He’s too dumb to realize he lost in 2000.

Never ceases to amaze me.

Hey, at least he’s humble, not presumptuous or arrogant!

I forgot one... judging by his bloated appearance, his body is very efficient at turning fried food and ice cream into bulk.

In a world where all is inefficiency and waste (according to him), I think that an efficient metabolism is something to be proud of.

To paraphrase my Mom, “if you can’t say something nice about Algore... let’s do lunch.”
