Amnesty For Terrorists; RNC Donations Down

It would be a real tragedy if we tried to make this immigration debate one dealing with terrorism." - Sen. Reid (D) NV (Reported by Andy Selepak, Accuracy in Media)

In a 5/30/07 Accuracy in Media article by Andy Selepack, it seems the true tragedy is Senator Harry Reid standing with terrorists, under the guise of "comprehensive immigration reform."

Reid thinks it would be a tragedy if the debate over immigration addressed how potential terrorists enter the United States? Isn't the purpose of an "immigration reform" bill to regulate and restrict who enters and stays in our country? Shouldn't it be a given that terrorists are to be kept out of the U.S.? And what about all the blather from the politicians, supposedly to reassure us that "border security, national security, enforcement" are ALL being addressed as priorities in the new SHAMNESTY bill?

Senator Reid's statement about separating the immigration debate from terrorism represents a break with reality, and a total violation of trust. We must hold him accountable, along with ALL the U.S. Senate!

Six of the September 11th hijackers. committed KNOWN immigration fraud prior to taking part in terrorist slaughter. But they were permitted to stay in the U.S. anyway.

The bottom line is that illegal alien amnesty bills help terrorists ruthlessly kill Americans, even on sovereign American territory.

So here's the question: WHY GRANT AMNESTY to TERRORISTS illegally living in the U.S. right now?

Voting in favor of an amnesty bill under the circumstances of a terror war is tantamount to turning a blind eye to terrorists on American soil plotting to kill Americans. Why do we tolerate this dereliction of duty by our government officials, putting our lives at risk?

Let's secure the border, build the fence, stop the flood of intruders, and identify and isolate the hostile and/or criminally-associated illegal aliens already here. Then, at the very least, let's immediately deport those with terrorist ties and the known violent felons -- before they try to kill us again. Who says we cannot deport all of them? America is not a suicide pact! Recent reports indicate that the police powers in the federal government have a very good compilation of data on many of who these people are, and where they are. Deporting the clearly seditious, hostile, dangerous and violent among us who are here ILLEGALLY is an overt constitutional obligation, not a constitutional violation. Such enforcement is the first and only "immigration reform" that makes any sense until authentic national security is established.

Why can't the White House, Democrats and Republicans agree on that? Why do they insist on putting us and our nation all in mortal danger?

True. The tragedy is worsened by the so-called Republicans standing with Reid.

Why do they insist on putting us and our nation all in mortal danger?

It's as though they have a suicide wish for the demise of this nation and its REAL citizens!

They think they can ignore the phone calls. They think they can ignore the faxes. They think they can ignore demonstrations. Maybe they are right BUT WHAT THEY CAN’T IGNORE IS EMPTY ENVELOPES! When you get their requests for money use their envelope to send them back a message. Make them pay to hear you tell them AMNESTY = NO MORE MONEY.

How about DNC donations? Republicans can’t be the only one fed up.

You dan’t carry on like a herd of jerks day after day when your people are screaming their disapproval and expect those same people to keep on sending you money.

Of course donations are down. The only people who will be getting money from me are the ones who refuse amnesty to ILLEGALS. The RNC can go pound salt.

I’m looking for sources that confirm

1) Only two miles of border fence have been built
2) The National Guard deployment to the border was a useless waste of money and just election year smoke and mirrors.

What have we done if anything? Do we have more border agents? Are we deporting anymore illegals?

"The bottom line is that illegal alien amnesty bills help terrorists ruthlessly kill Americans, even on sovereign American territory."

A bigger tragedy is the 'death' of the pride and determination to protect from assault (not necesarily physical) the concept of 'home' ... whether the dwelling you live in, or the community or a city, a state or our beloved nation.

White people leave Los Angeles, straights leave San Francisco, etc.

Bush and the Republican party will probably go down to defeat over their refusal to protect America from the invasion of illegal aliens across the Mexican border.

Americans are in a tough spot. The opposing political party, Democrats, are in favor of the same invasion Republicans are encouraging.

It might be time for Americans to consider using their right under the Constitution to change governments.

I’ve had some thoughts about that, and I’m near to concluding that some powerful people want there to be terrorist attacks here, probably so that fedgov can clamp down on what remains of our liberties and freedoms, because they want to rule us in totalitarianism.

I’m near to that conclusion, but I’m not quite there yet. It’s all so tinfoily.

The stupid party leaders do not understand Reid’s strategy is use the amnesty bill to defeat these Rhinos senators in Georgia , S Carolina , and New Mexico. He has candidates already set to run to the right of these FOOLS in all three seats. Karl Rove and Jorge are real brilliant alright ( NOT) !

Hit them where it hurts. It’s the only way to get their attention, sadly.

I’m afraid that even if they change their position to get the votes, if and when they get re-elected, they’ll just go merrily on their way, continuing to ignore us and giving amnesty.

DNC donations all come from George Soros, and other super-wealthy-ultra leftists who have completely drunk the Kool-Aid. Only the GOP seems vulnerable to masses of little guys.

paraphrasing my call to Arlen Specter:

The last time you ran, you squeaked by a primary with razor-thin margins.
Last time, Bush rode in on a white horse and saved you.
Since then, we have all lost respect for Bush, due to this immigration fiasco.
Next time the cavalry will not be coming to save you.
Vote for this bill, and Pat Toomey will SQUASH YOU LIKE A BUG!

Do we have more border agents?

I would say it's impossible to have more border agents. As soon as one is hired another leaves as they note what has happened to the two that were doing their job when they shot the illegal invading drug trader. They went to prison!

The only ones the central government will get will be those looking for a cushy job where you need do nothing.

It might be time for Americans to consider using their right under the Constitution to change governments. Our elite political class has become too incestual and narcissistic. They need to be loaded up in stake trucks and hauled home.

They arrogantly thumb their noses at us and, in a very Jimmy Carteresque way, tell us we're at fault.

I say goodbye to both houses and the quicker they get flushed down the drain the better off this country will be both economically and defensively.

I know to many this is terrible to say, but perhaps we'd be better off with an Augusto Pinochet-type for the next 15 years.

Woman guilty of bilk
Comment on this story

DAN CHURNEY, danc@mywebtimes.com, 815-431-4050

A Rochelle woman admitted Thursday in La Salle County, Illinois Circuit Court she stole state unemployment benefits.

Graciela Marquez pleaded guilty to using an alias to receive $1,691 from the Illinois Department of Employment Security. Marquez has made a sentencing arrangement with prosecutors, but Circuit Judge H. Chris Ryan Jr. warned Marquez that if she got into legal trouble before the sentencing hearing — set for Thursday, July 12 — the arrangement would not apply.

The sentencing range for Marquez’s offense permits fine, probation and as long as five years in prison. She also could be ordered to pay restitution.

Another charge of identity theft was dropped. This charge referred to Marquez having fraudulent identification, which prosecutor Greg Sticka said Marquez used to obtain the state benefits.

Mendota police handled the case.

The 34-year-old Marquez does not speak English and relied on a Spanish interpreter in court. Marquez also is not a United States citizen, which prompted Ryan to tell her that with her felony conviction she could be deported.
