John McCain Warns Illegal Immigration Enforcement Could Lead to Riots
The National Ledger ^ | Jun 3, 2007 | John W Lillpop

Posted on 06/03/2007 10:23:58 PM PDT by TaxPayer2000

Just when the dust was beginning to settle following President Bush's latest assault on common sense, in which he accused conservatives of "spreading fear" by being honest about amnesty, Senator John McCain decided that fear mongering was not such a bad tactic after all. In fact, McCain decided that fear mongering was essential in trying to sell his amnesty snake oil to a skeptical and increasingly suspicious public.

On June 2, McCain rolled out his fear-based defense of amnesty on the campaign trail in Le Mars, Iowa. Responding to a question about deportation of illegal aliens, McCain delivered the following dilly: "In case you hadn't noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,'' McCain said. "They've got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can't even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don't want that in the suburbs of America.''

So when they show up to riot, we’ll know who they are.

Should make catching them a whole lot easier. And then show them to the door.

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.

John McCain Warns Illegal Immigration Enforcement Could Lead to Riots

Well, well, well, Mr. McCain. You just set your own trap. Are you suggesting these potential rioters be turned into American citizens vis-a-vis this shamnesty bill? The question answers itself. See why we're opposed to this criminal action? Oh we forgot, you're a dupe of Teddy Kennedy on this one.

Senator McCain, you get fruitier every day.

With all due respect to the senator from Arizona, warning American citizens that government cannot enforce the law because it would lead to rioting is blatant fear mongering at it's lowest and most despicable.

This does not deserve respect.

Um I wonder what the odds are, any guesses? First this clown doesn’t wanr to torture terrorists who nuke the USA now he wants us to give in to lawbreakers. Is he part French? Does he have a clue who has the most to lose, Americans or Foreigners? Who has the home team advantage?

What happened to the first reason for government, which is to protect its citizens from all enemies foreign and domestic? I’ll not support nor be governed by a government that will not defend my country. Methinks he is bordering on the T word. Try taxing us $20,000 each to pay for illegals and see what happens. He needs to be recalled now. Send a message to the rest of the gutless cowards.

Enforcement -riots 100-1

Let’s see first they worry about the Latino vote and now Mr McCain is worried about them rioting. Do they ever show any worry or any kind of concern one way or the other about us? Seems they worry a lot about them and show nothing but disdain for us.

Maybe it hasnt occurred to him the possibilities of riots and vigilantism if that amnesty *IS* passed. Whats the point of enforcing amnesty when it pretty much p*sses in the face of those who have been following the law. Seems to me the ones who want this amnesty WANT there to be chaos and no law at all...he should not be surprised if people follow that logic to its natural conclusion. Why isnt anyone pointing that out to the braindead elitist pigs? Does the word Bastille mean anything?

"It is also irresponsible and reckless, because it conveys a very dangerous message, which is: "America is governed by the rule of law, except when the threat of anarchy and violence is too great."

These politicians are turning this country upside down.

Can't build a wall, can't deport them, can't asked them if they're here legally, can't refuse them medical care, can't shoot illegal drug runners, and if we don't give them what they want, they'll riot and burn the country down.

I am no fan of McCain’s but he is stating the obvious, what does anyone think those mass illegal marches across the US were really about?

Congress has done nothing about securing the borders since the last time we were forced to give amnesty in the 80’s, so the whole thing has been premeditated.

How do these people in Washington get elected? Why do they want to create a underclass of citizens? Why do the people that we vote into Washington turn back into our guns? I was once a Republican, but the party has left me in the wake of their new found love for new citizens. I am going to head to the polls and vote all the people out of office that vote for this bill. You would think that the Maverick is smarter than to draw comparisons of our country to France. At least they have an official language.

Don’t deport them, don’t threaten to deport them.

Just take away their jobs and place to live.

No job and no place to live they’ll leave on their own. It isn’t that complicated. What’s more, is that the people who provide jobs and a place to live are Americans. They can be fined and put into prison. Do it a few times and the rest just might see the light...

It will then be time to break out the local posse’s to turn these lawbreakers in.

First they break the law by coming over the border, then they want to riot.

Most of the welfare in this country is not on basis of actual need, but paid as a bribe to keep the cities from burning. As long as we pay for it the politicians can be “compassionate”.
I wonder what old Crazy John would say if he had to worry about someone else getting fed up, and taking it to the streets? Water cannons, anyone?
