Those volunteering to leave, as part of a program started in late 2005, are given a fixed sum of money, normally $4,700 per couple, with $1,350 each for the first three children. Wow, I am headed for France! Oh, wait, I'll bet this deal only applies to Muslims!

I'm ashamed of my own country. France is setting an example, not excuses. They're taking their national sovereignty seriously. I just wish we had the gumption to do the same.

Hortefeux, in his meeting with security officials, also insisted on the need to develop a system of paying illegal immigrants to voluntarily return home, setting the number of paid departures at 2,500 for this year _ a 25 percent increase from 2006.Those volunteering to leave, as part of a program started in late 2005, are given a fixed sum of money, normally $4,700 per couple, with $1,350 each for the first three children.

How often can they use this scheme? Can they make a living doing it?

I believe that anyone has more sense than Bush. What in the heck happened to the guy I voted for? He is MIA.

I am SO JEALOUS. Maybe I’ll have to move to France. Or Denmark. And right at the same time the ‘lawmakers’ here are trying to pass a Y’all Come bill. It makes me sick.

One problem I see is that the terrorist group meetings (which includes some gov’ts’ cabinets — such as Syria’s) are borrowing a line from President Reagan — “the bombing starts in five minutes.”
