Congress May Consider Phony Human Cloning Ban on Wednesday

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- The House of Representatives is scheduled to begin debate on a measure on Thursday to force taxpayers to fund embryonic stem cell research. However, pro-life leaders on Capitol Hill tell LifeNews.com that a Wednesday vote could occur on a bill that pro-life advocates consider a phony human cloning ban.

Americans strongly oppose human cloning and a new Gallup poll released today finds that 86 percent finding it morally wrong while just 11 percent say it's alright.

While the details have not been confirmed and the Democratic leadership in the House has not affirmed that a vote will take place, one pro-life source told LifeNews.com that pro-life advocates should be on the lookout for a potential vote.

The vote, if it happens, would be on a bill that would ban the implantation of cloned embryos.

While some lawmakers would tout the bill as a ban on reproductive human cloning -- because the cloned embryos would not be able to be implanted in the mother's womb -- it would have the opposition of the pro-life movement because it would allow human embryos to be cloned in the first place.

Pro-life groups have considered such provisions "clone and kill" measures because they allow human cloning for research and mandate that those days-old unborn children be killed so they can't ever be born.

As a result, research-based cloning involves the deliberate creation and destruction of human beings for the advancement of science.

As research cloning has come up for debate in the past, pro-life advocates have also cited concerns that it would lead, like abortion, to the exploitation of women, especially poor women. This is because scientists would need a large number of human eggs to use to create the embryos for research and those eggs could only be obtained by women who donate them.

Scientists could devise methods of paying women for their eggs or reimbursing them in some other financial manner -- leading poor women to subject themselves to the dangerous and painful egg extraction procedure. The procedures have led to infertility and death for some women.

Some cite the scandal in South Korea as proof and point out how Professor Hwang Woo-suk coerced women into donating their eggs for his fraudulent embryonic stem cell research and human cloning.

Polls have shown that opposition to human cloning is bipartisan.

A poll of over 4000 Americans, conducted in 2004 by the Genetics and Public Policy Institute at Johns Hopkins University found that over 75% of those polled when asked: "Do you think human embryo cloning for research should be allowed at all?" said no. That included 72.5 percent of Democrats saying they oppose it.

Countries around the world such as Canada, France, Germany, and Italy have banned human cloning for both research and reproductive purposes and, in 2005, the United Nations voted 84-34 to call on nations to pass bans on human cloning.

Finally, pro-life groups say the so-called reproductive cloning ban in such a phony bill would be unenforceable because cloned human embryos are virtually indistinguishable from those who have not been cloned.

As I’ve said before, UndauntedR, cloned entities (i.e. not human beings) have no souls. They are replicants of human beings ... a human being cannot have two souls. Nada. Sooo ... as much as it would pain me for a being to be euthanized, I feel that this is in the just interest of humanity (of which I do not speak for ... just as a staunchly Traditional Latin Rite Roman Catholic). No IVF, no abortions on demand (as an after birth control measure ... however, I do believe that in the rare cases where a woman has been the victim of a crime [read “rape” or “incest”, etc.] I feel that it should be up to the woman to choose a humane procedure in which to either terminate the pregnancy that was the result of MAN’S WILL (read - victimization of a woman with no regard whatsoever for the potential for a human life to be created ... just rape for rape’s sake [power] and for a guy to blow his wad to satisfy his sexual perversions). End of story.

Now, as we have gone a couple of rounds on this issue, I would like to know what you think about the potential of a hypothetical situation:

01. Two clones are produced.

02. One is derived from a MALE’s DNA structure.

03. The other, is derived from a FEMALE’s DNA structure.

04. Both cytoblasts / hybrid embryos are then either implanted within willing surrogate female wombs -OR- as technology progresses, in some form of pseudo-embryonic sterile environment with all of the artificial requirements that are part and parcel of a NATURAL human pregnancy and a child’s development from the point of conception (egg penetrated by one fortunate spermatazoa out of several billion sperm cells ... talk about the odds dude).

05. Usually 36 full weeks after conception (however premature births seem to be on the rise ... I myself was a premie by 4 weeks) a hopefully healthy baby is born into this world with a loving set of MARRIED parents ... One Father and One Mother. None of this bullsh*t with two mommies or two daddies raising a kid like he is some type of designer handbag or fashion accessory to be included on Rosie O’Donnell’s next Rainbow Family Homosexual Cruiseship Tour (take a gander for yourself at the following URL: http://www.rfamilyvacations.com/ ).

06. How would you then hypothetically explain the possiblity of these two clones (male and female) somehow by fate, meeting, having intercourse, and then producing a now second generation cloned child? The child itself would not be a clone per se, but would be CLONE Version 2.0 Nada. No way in hell dude.

07. If this were to be the case then, how would you differentiate someone who could possibly be a clone (albeit xx numbers of years younger than the source individual in which they were cloned from, in addition to the obvious physical changes to facial and bodily characteristics that we all encounter (however badly we seek that elusive fountain of youth in order to stave off those wrinkles, grey hairs, sagging areas that were once toned and firm, places where hair once grew, but has now gone bye-bye [as in my case ... makes me look a bit menacing with my goatee], and all of this due to the advancement of time and maturity).

08. Now with the cloned entity (I will not bow down to referring to them as a human being or a person), is this entity now entitled to special rights? The right to vote, the right of marriage (possibly to another clone), the potential to pass along genetic defects (due to cloning) to its offspring (thereby taining the genetic pool even more ... dude the CDC has enough issues to contend with at this moment ... are you gonna kick in your hard earned salary to raise one or two or more of these kids? I didn’t think so ... probably push them to the side and use the common retort “NOT IN MY BACKYARD” ... maybe put them on a government subsidized dole fund for unwanted and orphaned clones. Maybe cannibalize them for their organs or tissues. Who knows? All I can say is that for someone to advocate the cloning of a human being, is without a doubt, in my opinion [read my lips here] “THE RESULT OF HUMANKIND’S DESCENT INTO THE ABYSS OF IMMORAL AND SELFISH BEHAVIOUR WHICH ORIGINATES FROM ONE SOURCE AND ONE SOURCE ONLY” .... UndauntedR can you name it? Come on, you just have to know. You’re being oppressed by him. Yeah, thats the guy, the deciever ... the one who whispers in your ear and tells you things that warp out your better reasoning abilities, the one who seduces you with lies and human rationalizations, the one who caused Judas to betray Christ for 30 pieces of silver, the one who caused St. Peter to deny Christ three (x3) times before the cock crowed while Jesus was undergoing his tribulations. You know who that idividual is ... you’re walking side by side with him ... SATAN has many, many disguises. Any you my friend, have been deceived. Pray that you may indeed see the error(s) of your ways (been there and done that ... like I’ve said on a previous post, I have a tendency to pick the motes / splinters out of my fellow human counterpart’s eyes, when I have timbers / planks in my very own eyes ... enough to build a fleet of ships).

Dude, I will continue to pray for you and others like you here on these forums and here in cyberspace and in the “real world”. I was once like them myself, but saw that being negative, hatefull, spitefull, and angry at the world and everything in it only made me a vector or active participant in satan’s plan to desecrate and tear down everything that God has Divinely Created. And satan knows that his time in which to accomplish the ruin of souls is drawing very quickly to a close ... no man shall know the day nor the hour. Be it but in a twinkling of an eye or as if a thief in the night.

Do the right thing ... rebuke satan and turn to Jesus. He loves you so very much that He stretches His arms so wide to embrace you, that He gives you the ultimate gift ... HE DIES FOR YOU WITH HIS ARMS STRETCHED WIDE ... TOTALLY AGAPE LOVE.

Take care and PEACE BE WITH YOU,
